Conflicts arise when it works like this. It is relevant to daily warz (not much for weekly one).
In a case when the winners would be different in either cases, say Betterbets would have higher wagered amount when UTC time is taken while PRC has higher when ET time is taken, the players who bet on Betterbets can raise a claim for paying them out.
Fine, I understand. But keep the terms reasonable. You can't just switch to different time zones without announcing it. It would have been okay if you were just sticking to the weekly warz, but it is very significant when it comes to daily ones. 5 extra hours and 5 less hours, offsets results by 10 hours.
I was checking the today leaderboard of PRC which is most certainly UTC/GMT.
Moreover, if you don't mention it, it would be reasonably assumed you are following UTC/GMT which is the standard. Eastern time isn't.

AFAIK, the competition was suddenly shifted from UTC/GMT to ET after Nico posted that the site was running on ET time.
Considering that there is no mention of which time zone is being accepted either in OP or in subsequent posts, confusions can arise esp. in the case of daily warz. For instance right now the winners would change depending on which time zone you pick.
It is okay when you are running a giveaway like skipping to mention what source the bitcoin price will be taken from etc. but in this case when you are accepting bet from players and they are risking the money, they should be aware what exactly they are betting at. Conflicts can easily arise, for instance I have made those two bets assuming the time zone to be UTC. Also ideally you could remove the addresses from first. So odds are still there (as archive) but no one makes bets without seeing the new odds in second post.

Hey , I send my coin before you sneaky change the odds. It is before you change it into over 450. What about my bet now? is it count over 250 or 450? This is cheating if you count mine over 450 !!
i just checked the bets and youre good for over 250btc should be all set. Odds are now changed though so any bets from time of new odds post go towards new odds
