Do you mind to confirm this house edge thing with bjorn? because from what I see in his image , there is no more house edge reduction for the VIP status but I do see more cashback and extra raffle ticket if you get the vip status. Exactly, your chance to win the raffle (if there is one prize only) = number of tickets you have allocated / total number of tickets every players have allocated. Splitting your tickets to a few different accounts doesn't help at all.
And btw, Betterbets mentioned in the past (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12607593) that they have a plan to make raffle tickets tradable.

This. Not to mention you can't bet faster running multiple accounts at once (tried this already) so there's no benefit to it unless you're just doing different strategies on each.

I don't think that should be needed, should it? The only case I could see this working would be for players to sell tickets to one another, but that would detract from BB's pool.

I think the whale will not be coming because of the low max win, He is betting 2x for high amount and the max win here is now 7 btc. ALso the whale has just lost 100 + btc yesterday. The whale should be getting nice rakeback from PRC as well
