Just visited your site once again to see whether you've changed the amount of the bet to a smaller one. Nope, you leave it as it was, and it is no wonder that we can see this "Current number of bets is 0.". Also you are not active in this particular thread and that doesn't make things any better.

That's been said, I think your site can have success with a due approach and advertisement.

I wouldn't bet in bitcoin price, I'm thinking with what I can compare that and only lottery comes on my mind. But in lottery you risk very little amount to win big one, on your site you risk a lot to make how much profit? Risk is too big, prize is too small, that's why people will not bet on your site. At least its my opinion, there is much easier things to bet on, and if you need to wait 5 days to see shat happened with your bet then you don't have a chance. I already see how you work for couple months and then one week with most bets you will just disappear.

The idea of betting on the right bitcoin price is not is not bad per se, I've seen something like this in the past.
A major problem is that there is no guarantee that the op will pay the money, it is like sending your Bitcoin to a random address and expect something back.
Furthermore, I don't want to wait for the whole month just to learn that my bitcoin is now in the pocket of the Op. Too risky for me.

Well, it is a good idea to doing betting in bitcoin price, but my judgment about bitcoin price is always wrong. I mean, in this start of the year, i thought bitcoin couldn't reached at $4000 in this year, but when i see bitcoin has come and in the middle of 2017, then i can't predict anymore about bitcoin price. Because bitcoin always give us surprise about its price, So let see what is happening in the end of this year.

I like the idea, but processing bets manually? And yeh, why should I trust OP in this? Sending some bitcoin to a random address and hoping it will work out good? Nah, that's too risky for me.

Right exactly, betting is good, stupid betting is not. Anyway btc is just going up. 1 year = 10000$/1btc
Big word but its always start from a great beginning OP just needed to prove his authenticity the more he can build trust the more bettors and visitors will come to his business so he better to improved and make sure that everything can be settle to continue to exist,.

the idea is unique but you have to build trust first to attract user to bet on your site.

The ideal is not bad at all but the risky of this ideal is too much. I think not much people will try if they got a good guarantee from you.

Hello guys, I have created simple web where you can bet your bitcoin predictions. I saw many people always saying "hey, btc will cost in a week XXXX dollars" and other guys were against saying "No, it will cost
YYYY dollars". So now everyone can try his own guesses against other ones with my website http://bitstampguess.com/ What is your opinion about that?

All I can say is, this is a great game...

BUT....

The question here is the legitimacy. Honestly I can make a website like that and even my intention is honest, no way I can get trust here because they have no reason to believe that this will be a legitimate one. And I think you are in a rush just to make profits because your system even accept this "21321321321321" as bitcoin address. Also how will you verify that the one who send you funds is the receiving address we have input there. Lots of holes mate. You really in a rush getting BTC's here.

indeed, lets wait and see if OP improves the site
the concept is good, the site itself...erm,not so much Smiley
but lets give him a benefit of a doubt, bookmarked the site, will come back later to see if it lives

I would say I wish you can provide more detail information in your page before I do place a bet. About rules, trust...etc.
its very important factors before someone will  play with OP's site  we needed to make sure that he will not just run away or things will be smoothly
completed without any doubts i think providing those information is a must in every gambling site.

So far everyone is talking about the lack of trust, I'm gonna tell you solutions although they're quite obvious!

1. Escrow the funds so the payout is certain
2. Publish a page with total bets on each date/price

Doing this will ensure people place their bets and you get to keep your 5%

This way no one deposits, no one profits
You just wasted your time building the website

To confirm your bet, send 0.001 BTC to an address 17JpsYy6RyfoibqaSWuEYMyF4xkbVki8h4
But how we can verify that you haven't selected one of your own bet as winner by end of the draw? You can easily lie us, you should make a public list of all bets made on the site. We don't have access to your database which you can easily manipulate per your need.

Well if I were that having bitcoin prize I will not bet it all the way, and maybe I should use another funds of it in order to use that for personal use or rather I invest for holding bitcoin. That would be a transparent and honest ways if the list of bets will be made publicly in order to eliminated doubts if were cheated by the host of the gambling games. A screen shot can prove what our mate been saying here so that we will not speculate into something bad rumors.

The best way to get this type of site up and running should be using a SMART contract.

Basically you use different API feeds from reliable exchanges. Then someone makes a bet and the script checks the price during time of expiry and if its a win then it sends you your winnings if not , then no.

Currently its very easy to do with ethereum but with bitcoin might be difficult until rootstock comes out.

Because you are not going to get much traffic and trust creating this site out of the blue.

recently some of the bitcoin related betting sites have been locked by the US government. Therefore, believing the site is up to your trustful thought about them.
You will be able to find the winners list with the banner in the separate page to set up the list hence you could find the list at there.

Well I am guessing there is nothing legitimate about what OP is offering and I don't even think there would be anything he would compute manually because he will just
run away with the coins that will be sent. The only thing OP will be computing is how much he scammed the people that fell for his scam attempt.
