I think Leo is a lock to win best actor this year.
That's why odd for him is only 1.01x so it is like nothing you get in profit if you win and if you loss by chance it will be a big blow with huge loss. Grin
you still earn profit from your bets if Leo win but very small profit but you can placed huge amount for Leo and for an example if you bet 1 btc then if Leo win you will get 0.01 from your bet

That's crazy low in my opinion and a worthless bet, so much on the line for nothing like you said. Some weeks ago it was actually a better option. I repeat that George Miller as Best Director for Mad Max has the best odds and a clear chance for winning due to his age and it could be some sort of achievement award (plus he definitely deserves it). Gonzalez Iñarritu did well but already got last year's Oscars and I don't think The Revenant is such a clear winner there or any other nomination for that matter.

What do you guys think about Best Supporting Actor? is Stallone a lock?

good bet looking at the odds but I really didnt love the movie
I thought it was good but was kinda slow and boring in long stretches.

I am a big fan of the Oscars and I am watching almost every nominated film for years.

Here's my prediction:

Best Picture - Spotlight

Best Director - Adam McKay – The Big Short

Best Actor - Leonardo DiCaprio – The Revenant as Hugh Glass

Best Actress - Charlotte Rampling – 45 Years as Kate Mercer

Hope this will help somebody to win. )

Well my picks are slightly different than yours but if you're right about Charlotte Rampling then you'll get 20x as she is currently the under dog.

Its sad to see that Sicario might end up not winning in any category, It was a great movie.

Really surprised to see Matt Damon leading the best Actor category. Was expecting Leonardo Dicaprio to finally win one

wut? Anyway, I usually do NBA predictions and I'm not that great either but mark my works, George Miller will get Best Director for Mad Max and he has great odds...Leo is a lock for best actor though and best movie is a tie between Spotlight and The Revenant.

I can't believe Leonardi Dicaprio hasn't won an Oscar yet, I haven't seen the Revenant yet but the guy deserved it for Wolf of Wall street last year, and im going to be really surprised if Matt Damon wins over him because he hasn't done any big roles lately that I know. I think they don't give him an oscar just for the sake of it at this point.

That is indeed very nice. But I think it is not often done.
As most do, I think mutual friends. But I've never heard of it, frankly.

I was very surprised to get the information Matt damon became one of the candidates in the category of best actor. This is something new, but most likely he will not win. Most likely that will win in the category for best actor are leonardo dicaprio

Haha. Yea, I will bet me a couple of BTCs for Leonardo here (that is if I have them). Well considering it's been ages, it's about time Leonardo DiCaprio gets his own!

Really surprised to see Matt Damon leading the best Actor category. Was expecting Leonardo Dicaprio to finally win one

Mate where did you see that? According to all the Bitcoin sportsbooks Leonardo Di Caprio - The Revenant is @ 1.040 and Matt Damon - The Martian is @ 51.00  Huh I would really love it if you can give me higher odds on Di Caprio  Wink

Yeah, I don't see where he is seeing that either, the odds I see for Di Caprio currently are 1.02, almost non existent whilst the odds for Damon are 42 at DirectBet.

He is most definitely going to win the Oscars for The Revenant but would I consider that his best acting performance? I think he had done better roles than this and was not awarded anything, so this would make up for all the great performances he has given in all those movies.

I still think Leonardo Dicaprio will win over Matt Damon.

As Wendigo mentioned above, the odds on Matt Damon is very high @ 51. It is fair to say the majority expect Leonardo Dicaprio to win over Matt Damon lol.

Leo deserves to take it for sure. Not a ton of talking in the film
but wow he makes you think you are actually on that hellish journey
when there is dialogue.

Definitely think oscars need a younger makeover of voters because im
pretty sure no one has seen brooklyn or the room.

Maybe someone went and saw brooklyn and was shocked it wasnt made
by spike lee and was boring as hell.
