It would have been better if you would have posted the links to those accounts or groups. Its best to aware the community regarding scams. I have seen many sellers on Facebook but never thought of buying from them.

Outrageous prices, more than double Alibaba's insane prices. D3  for $3200 is just an example. Bought 3 from an Alibaba seller for $1800. I wish Bitmain would track down these price gouging scumbags and prevent them from buying.

The prices are high because they are targeting people that don't know anything about crypto. Also, they might be taking advantage of
the time when the main suppliers don't even have stocks anymore to sell to the public. This is similar to concert ticket scalping, I guess.
The main reason for the high prices are the only one that they are taking advantage because only they have the stock. People who are well aware of the cryptocurrency are even buying on the high prices. I think there is nothing wrong in it according to business point of view, otherwise discourage them morally.
So, people while knowing the fact that it is far expensive than the original price and even then don't bother it. It simply mean that they need to get it.  Wink

Don't get me wrong as I do not agree with such prices, however, I believe anyone can set any price they wish to set on anything they wish to sell and that does not make them scumbags. It is only proper for whoever wish to buy such item, to make proper research on them first before even buying from anyone in the first place. As long as they are not scamming anyone and someone deemed it fit to purchase from them without considering the price... Moreover, Bitmain does not stop anyone from selling at reseller's price the last time I checked.

Can you please post these FB accounts so we can mark them and try to inform everyone? Ty. Especially now with the BCC chain creating more demand for more miners, the scammers will surely take advantage of the noobs

That’s a great idea and also doable, it would be good for us all if we helped unmasked those abuser so that newbies will not be victimized and it will be a bad image again for bitcoin community. It is much our responsibility now as part and members of this forum to work hand in hand to stop those kinds of activity’s that can be prevented if we do our share.

Post those links if legit and I will not hesitate to spread the word to others I know in this community. Let this be teamwork and camaraderie among us bitcoiners.

Nowadays antminer s7 and s9 selling is pretty high henceforth bitmain increased the production but still most of their customers facing the delivery issue like late delivery and no information in support. In russian board there was the thread created yesterday worry about delay and price change of the miner machine cost. Go with the trusted and authentic ebay reseller to purchase it.

i have some issue about "ANTMINER" but it does not about selling a "antminer deivice" but instead invests. I read it on facebook lately just sharing his expirience this is the story. someone offered him a service using ANTMINER. The stranger's said..

"you want to make your bitcoin multiply or make it double? all I need is your bitcoin wallet with a bitcoin fund, give me your gmail and the password so that i can connect it to my antminer device and you will change your password after i connect it to my antminer"..

He gave his wallet and trusted to stranger and after the process he changed the password of his wallet, after 1 or 2 days of waiting, his getting shock when he check his bitcoin wallet(blockchain) he found out that his wallet have transaction sending money to another wallet address even if he chance the password of his wallet the stranger have a access to open his wallet. in short he got fall down on a trap of the stranger(scammer). that's why i alert people about ANTMINER seller or offering a service using ANT miner device.

Not only antminer resellers, infact you should be scared of everyone doing business on facebook because most times they all end up to be scammers who just came to make away with your money, it is better to opt in for face to face deals with them.

I have a Bitmain account that has 2 valid/new and open UNPAID orders on it, 1 order for 6 Antminer D3's and 1 order for 10 Antminer D3's. Dont have to pay for both orders but you can if you want. Gotta pay via wire transfer. I will give this account to who ever can purchase all 16 miners, if I can not find someone who can purchase all 16 then I will give it to someone who can purchase one of the orders. You will just need to change all of the passwords for the bitmain account and the email that is associated with the account, and also change the phone number and the shipping address. you will have 7 days to wire transfer the money to bitmain for the orders/order.

If you could hook me up with a small donation of BTC for staying up till 4 a.m. to claim these Antminers it would be greatly appreciated.. It is actually pretty hard to make an order for these since they sell out so quickly.. If you do not want to hook me up with a donation than i guess that is fine also... But I would REALLY appreciate a small donation for my troubles Smiley lol. I created a new email to use just for this account, will give you the password for the email and for the bitmain account and i advise you to immidiately change all security settings and passwords to your own passwords etc. Would like to talk to whoever wants the account over skype or something before handing the account over so I know I am giving the account to someone who deserves it...
Peace & <3

Facebook is a fraud house, almost every person that claims to be reselling mining power on facebook is a fake person. They seem legit at first, then after you send them your cash then they start telling different stories, at the end the deal never works out.

Prices were too high yes but would you mind thinking that there is a mining craze around the world?Even though amd and intel gpus have peak price because of miners demand,so expect more than on real mining machines

why should someone buy miner from a non official/third person who is untrusted?
if you ever want to buy anything, find official website of the product. This will ensure your purchase from a trusted seller.
Moreover, you can post links to facebook profiles you doubt to let everyone know about them.

It's their item and they can put any price tag they want for it. It's the buyers responsibility to have some product knowledge on an item before buying it off of someone considering that it's used. We don't need to meddle with their affairs as we clearly don't have any business with them. Trying to help is cool, but making someone look bad just because they have a high asking price for their item is something.
If the buyers really want to buy eventhough the price is steep then there's no way we can't stop them. But we can advise and rethink everything before buying. Of course the sellers is after the profit and we can't blame them because everything about bitcoin now is now at premium price because of the current price. If he can get away with it, the seller would be happy and of course the buyers will be using the product to maximize it and get profit as well. So its gonna be a win-win for both.
sorry, look like i forgot to mention the "used" one. and the buyer is from the lower class that cant afford high price sir. also keep in mind that used thing cant afford the same price on market, moreover its overpriced than the market. well i dont have any thing to complain, but if possible i wanted them to have atleast the same price to perfomance rate sir.

It is also possible that these "res-sellers" have direct links with Bitmain and are doing this with their blessings. I have serious doubt about Bitmain not knowing and are actually supportive of these people.

I'm trying to reach Neo at Bitmain. Somehow he got deleted from my friends list. The manufacturers need to step in and stop the price gouging. These people are spamming F5 waiting for miners to be for sale, then buying up all they can get, then selling them for outrageous amounts. Bitmain and others could put a stop to it because it is making them look bad. When Bitmain can't sell miners to miners because price gougers have bought up all the stock, it makes it look like Bitmain is advertising ghostware no one can buy.

The mining community as a whole needs to make their voices heard to the manufacturers to get this lunacy stopped. I can't buy 500 gpu's, but any dickwad can buy 500 D3's to resell. Someone with decent verbal skills should draft a petition to send to all the manufacturers letting them know this shit is hurting their rep. If they limit purchases to their website buyers it would slow this shit down quick. It will not affect how many miners they sell, since they will sell them all anyway. It also won't affect the whale buyers with offline contracts with Bitmain. But is will dam sure slow down the Alibaba scammers and Ebay twits, leaving a few miners for actual miners to buy at MSRP.

I think it would be hilarious if Bitmain tracked sales and if they see their miners being resold at high prices, they simply send the code to nuke the miner. It wouldn't take but a few to be shut down before the resellers get the point. If you buy, then mine. If you are not going to mine, sell at MSRP or risk getting the miner nuked when it connects to the internet lol.
If you have Neo on your skype, please PM me.

We've seen this all over. People are trying to trick newcomers into paying outrageous prices over what has a market value based on profitability or lack of thereof. I think that the community's most effective defense over such shady attempts to profit from newbies would be to report such vendors on the soon, and preferably in a way that would make their services unwanted from potential victims.

some of my miner's group on facebook also selling mining thing more expensive than the retail on my country does like +25%.
i dont find about antminer though, only the VGA one. maybe my group is for intermediate to lower class. but i dont really like that they gonna reap more profit for new/used thing. also not going to help any other member.

As long as they are not lying in the sales description, then what has it got to do with you? Nobody is forcing buyers to get them and they'll probably stay unsold for many years. You don't know if the person selling now overpaid for them and is just trying to recoup some money back
