I have never used Paxful since there is no available payment methods for my country ( except Werstern Union which sucks ) , but many trusted members here complained about the site
a noob account can be easily hacked , but when there are many trusted and experienced members sharing their bad stories then definitely there is something wrong
also I can confirm that Paxful is misleading  , for example when I tried to google paxful Syria it showed that over 10K bitcoins were sold in Syria
https://paxful.com/syria/buy-bitcoin

and as I said the payment methods for Syrians isn't that wide , I know only 2 people in Syria who know what bitcoin is
the 10K story is totally a lie , so even in marketing they are using lies

You're right - read my post here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.24049451

I found something alarming and the entire Bitcoin community needs to boycott these crooks. His facebook page says Ray Yosef, so Mohamed Azab Youssef, just "Ray" and Ray Savant. Seems he has an identity crisis.

The CEO of paxful is "Ray" but the Miami-Dade arrest with his possession of cocaine, etc. shows his name is Mohamed Azab Youssef, but Ray? Searching Ray Azab Youssef come up with a health page and it looks like he also goes by Ray Savant. Read this: https://www.activism.com/en_US/petition/equal-treatment-at-funhi-com/97455

He was a former CEO of a company called FunHi and was secretly reading through the member's private messages "for weeks"!!

He is a total scammer!

I searched for Ray Savant in google and the first one that came up is this twitter page:

https://twitter.com/rayshealth

Busted! That's totally him.

A few images down is a thumbnail of a youtube clip - also totally him! Listen to his interview - he's a total pig!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bdOe5YPL6A

and

https://twitter.com/paxful/status/772539249920839680

He looks totally drugged out of his mind in that one!

The problem with the scam issue is that we have no way of finding out which one is innocent because of lack of proof or any evidence that further prosecute the one being accused. Actually, you can be the bad guy even though you're the victim.

yeah, they got arrested but no charges were ever pressed. Their business seems to flow normally and they made their best weekly sales in the USA last week.

haven't had any problems with mine.

have 2fa set up, and login notifications.

i don't keep much on there.

any disputes are usually resolved fairly quickly. much quicker than lbc.

don't use tor, especially if 2fa is not set up.

Please check under security tab in account settings from which IP addresses your account was accessed and write about it to our support or just click bottom left corner orange bubble to talk directly with support.
We have thousands of users DAILY using Paxful as a wallet and these complaints about funds being stolen are very isolated cases and happen very rarely.
Also please check our trade volumes as a proof that our website is used by thousands of users.

You guys make no attempts at stopping scammers and failed to update the website.I literally explained to you guys at one point how easy it is to prevent scammers and what information to give out to help users prevent getting scammed and you guys failed to listen.

Yet you still trade there...

What the hell?! If this shit is actually possible, then bitcoin is completely worthless to me from now on. If i understood correctly, he sent you bitcoins, you took them successfully, and all of a sudden coins went to some body else's wallet. That is too much.

Edit: got it. He is probably hacked/trojaned or keylogged...

I'm seller on paxful and I never had problems.
Sometime we need to dispute trades but always win.
Paxful always respond to my mail within 1 or 2 hours.

But I agree LocalBitcoin stay better compared to Paxful.

For the record, I am trading on Paxful since over a year now. Had my fair share of scammers, but Paxful always resolved disputes correctly. Paxful always responded to my reports of scammers (blocking accounts, providing IP addressing). I have no complaints whatsoever regarding the people running Paxful.

So you are saying this is an isolated case? Seriously? With lots of issues like this beign posted to your community forum you're saying that it happens very rarely and it's an isolated case? You had the same reason for everyone complaining about it. I even have my 2fa enabled. This is bullshit.
