Topic: BEWARE! POLONIEX DEPOSIT ETH PROBLEM (Read 3143 times)

i discovered this thread unfortunately after i transferred my ether to polo
and as everyone else
on etherscan.io it said success but no funds appeared on the polo wallet
and o course after reading the comments i was afraid and even though it was just two hours past from my transaction i opened a ticket
i had opened some tickets in teh past with no response or with a  response after 2 months which was crazy
to my surprise i got an email after 2 hours  informing me that my funds were now available on my polo ether wallet
i checked and it was there
maybe im lucky? or things are moving forward for polo...not sure but thankfully funds are there

After Circle group acquired this exchange months back , i saw no serious change in this exchange . This exchange is now almost forgotten by people and have no hype like Binance and Bittrex . till yet I can say only these exchanges are perfect overall in compare to all exchanges in market .
never Face any deposit or withdraw issue on these exchanges from exchange side , in case of BCN only there were isues , that too bcoz of BCN chain  .

like my friend, my friend also experienced something like you. my friend has lost 0.5 btc. he wanted to buy tokens at a low price, but what power if this has happened.

Yea, they always had problems.
But I never had a problem with their deposit. Only for withdrawing. Which is why I went to Binance for trading.
Everybody knows you can't find a better exchange than Binance, let's face it.

I always send XRP since I discovered how fast and cheap its to send that way 

Sent 0.65 ETH to Poloniex. It took 15 hours for them to put them to my balance.

So Poloniex support smart contracts and transfers from bitstamp work?

7 hours after success ethereum tx but still waiting for deposit.

I dont know why you all got the problem.  But im have no issue at all using poloniex. Just the fees for bitcoin are a little expensive now that all i can see.  Other than that my eth just need 35 to confirm.didnt took half of hour to confirmed. Hope they will make the service more better. Im scared if something happen like this.

Today, I've sent 0.53ETH from bitstamp to poloniex directly (I know it's a bad idea), it took 2 hours

Sometimes your deposit got stuck because of eth network clogging, as of now a lot of transaction are in pending situation and it might take a long time before it confirms last deposit i made on poloniex it takes 48 hours before it shows up on my account balance.

Please, when you receive your fund write another post.
I just wanted to know how long I had to wait but in this post, it looks like you've all been robbed. It's scary :s

Seriously wish I seen this thread before I sent 7.7 ETH into Polo an hour ago.

I been with these guys since the early days, I have no clue what happened to them but I will say this is very concerning, mine also did not show and I know from past experience they eventually fix issues but take months to look at a single ticket.

I don't even know what I was thinking when I sent the whole amount earlier, I left POLO at the beginning of the year due to trade issues due to the bad DDOS problems we had around Feb of this year. Seen the price pump on ETH and without thinking seen the hot spot was POLO at the moment so I decided to throw them some business, but kind of impossible to do when they lock up your funds from your account for weeks or possibly months from what I am reading out there about ETH deposits here.

I am connected a little in crypto, I actually run a crypto marketing firm so I am about to put it out there about this one and see what is really going on. Just makes no sence, if the explorer shows confirmations, you wallet address lines up correctly, they should credit on the fly automatically. Something is wrong with these issues persisting. They are going to put a black mark on crypto if they keep dealing with customers in this way. Or have serious legal issues with regulators and put another huge target on crypto that we all don't need.

Hope you guys get your funds, this is insane to do to people during the holidays, definitely regretting the idea of tossing some business their way today but I will learn from this one. They better though give me my funds, no way I will take that large amount of money laying down.

already send 0,55 eth to polo wallet

Its 1 day 2 hours and my deposit is not yet credited to my account filed a ticket and just by looking around it might take a week or months before they will reply or read the ticket

FYI
I sent 0.52 eth to Polo to see if I could trust them, results are in:-
1762 block confirmations
11 hours and 40 mins waiting for it to arrive
nothing showing in my Polo account.
Have been doing this for some years now and never really had these kinds of issues before with Polo, so just sharing my experience. If Polo doesn't sort this kind of thing out, then they will lose a lot of users, it's such a shame, they were so good at one point.

I think that problems began after 01/08/2017.

its been quite annoying seeing this continuous concerned about polo though they continue to be working but I'm sure they also losing some traders
since the problem starts I'm still using polo though I already place much bigger stake inside trex keeping good numbers of my alts inside that exchange.

Sometimes I had also problems. For example had about 10 confirmation on bitcoin but in poloniex was zero balance. And only after long time past, I at last received it.
And they didnt answer on tickets. As we all know!!!
So now I prefer bittrex.
