Be A Digital Miner
Everyone misjudged them.
They are NOT a bunch of scammers (despite their past misdeeds).
They are NOT a bunch of complete incompetents (despite overwhelming proof to the contrary and their incredible attacks on people who actually could have help them if they had not called them cocksucking whores)  -- you just cannot make that shit up....
They are actually actors on a reality TV show that just has not come out yet.   I do not think that anyone has gathered a better group of misfits together for our entertainment since MTV get puck and josh together for Real Life San Fran.   Cannot wait for the TV version and let's all just feel lucky to have gotten the preview here.

Anyway,
if you look at all the pics from BFL ( where they show off their equipment and all the cases and boards) and the one above (with the granny soldering with a JBC Hot Air Station) and compare the habitat and the lighting and the surroundings , you will realize that the pics weren't taken in the same place....more than this, the lady has a Pre-Heating board underneath the PCBs and has the Hot Air Blower is too close to the board ( 3 secs and you have everything unsoldered - maybe because of this they failed with the promised speed and power draw...)
and the pic, "was taken during work" ....
Give me a break....

What hides behind that hand?

Far be it for me to defend BFL, but the best board assembly person I ever worked with was a 58 year-old lady. Don't underestimate what those ladies can do!  Cool

+1.  Who do you always see sewing patterns onto stocking for the grandkids or stitching together quilts?  Those things require precision too!

Nope there's hope for BFL -- didn't you hear, Avalon is selling batches of 10,000 chips.

Latest inside rumor is that BFL is just going to buy a batch of these chips and get soldering. That way, they'll at least be able to ship something before September.

lol, no hope! false estimation

Quote
- we do not offer technical support of any kind, this is final.
- if you do not know what to do with the packaged chips, please do not purchase.

Let me guess: This lady did the bumping on the chips.

I'm sure there are exceptions. I just find it odd considering the level of expectations most companies has on it's personnel they hire these days.
I also thought it required a sharp eye and a steady hand... not too common with elderly people.

That holy lady probably be the only person in the company who knows his stuff.

Since when do a company hire 50+ with glasses for soldering tiny electronic parts?
I hope she doesn't burn herself holding the soldering iron like that.
