Thanks for your hard work over the last few days. let's hope this version is stable and doing what we need it to!
Just wanted to let you know that the pool is still telling people to upgrade to v1.0.6.7 so perhaps we should update that message.

after applying updates both on MN and controller :
"status": "Not capable masternode: Invalid protocol version"
Did you go back to your wallet and start the sanctuary from that? I had the same issue and that resolved it.
do I need to delete the wallet and start it from scratch ?
sanctuary wallet is empty anyway

Did you go back to your wallet and start the sanctuary from that? I had the same issue and that resolved it.
do I need to delete the wallet and start it from scratch ?

I think the success will come sooner or later to the projects with good developers and I feel like you're a good developer. Maybe it's time to mine biblepay with my cpu again.

ofc no, on site stillis 8 so i don't know why it is written mandatory where thre is no ver...P.S. we have 21 century and dev CAN'T add to instalation file which ver we are installing
I 've supended my MN by applying update on linux. now it's in "UPDATE_REQUIRED" waiting for WIN wallet to be ready .
didn't have a single win and looks like nothing's coming . all winners are shared between 5 - 6 nodes . good start

And way more often than expected a single masternode gets two payments in a row.

Ok. Just got back to the machine unexpectedly early.
1.0.6.9 compiled.
Deleted all .dat filers etc from .biblepaycore
Synching atm....
Mining ops have begun successfully.
However, my wallet is not showing the 15571.?? bbp that should be there. Rescanning block chain
Still not showing up.....sigh.....

Did you deleted the wallet.dat ?? If yes, you're lost the BBP already ,Please find back this file in trash folder and overwrite the existing (Please do the backup first)if not yet empty.
Should be in
/home/username/.local/share/Trash

Nerf, Tiras is our Linux install guru, I'm pretty savvy at it to, PM the both of us if you need to.
Since you're having such major issues that no one else is reporting, I would do one of two things. If this is a dedicated BBP mining box, the reinstall Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, then run the BBP install guide again from start to finish. My guess is there is some sort of system conflict you're experiencing and a fresh install should do the trick. If it's not a dedicate BBP mining box, then sudo apt-get remove some of the components listed in the guide, then start from the beginning of the Linux install guide. My second guess would be an issue with where the Berkeley DB wound up.

Can a version number be placed on the windows executable or maybe just under the button to download it? That way we know when an upgrade will be needed without having to install it to see if a version changes.
I agree that having a version number would be handy, but you don't have to install to see if the version has changed. You can just right-click the downloaded exe and select properties -> details. You can find a version number there
