Confirmation; Big Picture Mining has reduced the price to $49.99 per unit; no group buy necessary.  Let the games begin.

The members of the Cooperative have decided the lower the price of our K1 Nano's to $49.99 per unit.  NEW

No special lot prices will be available just one price.

Those interested in larger lots of 1000+ can be discussed but available only in October. We are still waiting on Avalon Chips as is everyone else. Fingers crossed our earlier chips arrive soon.

Only reason might be shipping.  If we get group big enough, shipping to 1 us location then out can save money.

Also i still think they could work with us if they wanted on a group price.... but i don't think they will want to.

I personally think 50 at most.  With timeline of production... everything else sub 50 will stir up tons of interest.  But I'm not sure if this K1 vendor will do that or not.

$50? I'm sold. Count me in for 3 if that happens.

Keep us posted, I think the $50 pricepoint would attract more interest.

Depending on shipping date. Wink  But agreed!

It looks like so far, if we can hit the price point of $50 (before shipping and escrow), we've got between 27 and 32 possible units in our group buy.

I'm in discussion with Bicknellski to see what we can do if we have 100 units.  I'll let you know as it unfolds.

If we can get to $50, would that increase interest?

As said by others, you get it down to $50 or so each,I'd go for about 4-5 at least  Cool

At $69,still an ok deal, may still be interested................

Let me know how it goes.

Anything over 100+ or more were are open to negotiations.

Note we are priced in USD so if the bitcoin rises can be even cheaper.

We will keep everyone updated on our progress. Of course our first runs will be limited in number but ramping in September we can cover more orders. First in first served. We are also monitoring pricing and the availability of chips in terms of production of Klondikes and other offerings.

If the price does go down, considering timeframe / difficulty / BE's, I'll be in for 5-10.  If the price goes down.  Wink  I work for a group and our cutoff for buying BE's is fast approaching at the current price / difficulty, so the advertised pricing on K1's rules them out for sure in a month+.

I vaguely remember Bicknellski saying something about large buy orders talking to him about pricing; so maybe if we get enough interest we could approach a number resembling $50, but that's completely up to Bicknellski, and honestly I don't think $70 is a bad price.

I'll reach out to him and see what he says.

Thanks its just with BE's in stock now, and at least 2 difficulty changes before we would get them i hope it goes down.

Is there anyway you can get him to go under .5 BTC?  I think K1's would be best at sub 50 dollar.  I can understand his reasoning for not doing it, i thought that was direction K1's were heading long ago.

If the Group Buy goes forward, the best I can assume, that these will be delivered in late September/October timeframe ?

From Bicknellski's thread:

There seems to be a small window of opportunity to provide K1s from August to the end of September given the market forces pushing on bitcoin currently

Would be nice to get in at the end of August, and hopefully receive by late August/Early September.
