they believe that for their crypto project/business to succeed then they need this place and they even spend big amount maintaining the banner up from participants who constantly promoting their company thru signature .

Yes, and this would really make some attraction into some users basing off into their curiosity and interest and this is how signature campaign is really in purpose of on which it do really make out some exposure on

such project and since this is mainly having crypto traffic then its relevant that crypto projects will really be prioritizing on making some ads on this forum and wont really be skipping out

but if they do have more budget then they would opt or extent out on other forms of advertisement outside of this forum.

What they do expect? They are expecting to get users neither who do sign up and play on their site or would make out some investment if they are running an ICO. This is simply a marketing thing.
There are lots or various ways on promoting a project but since the trend is changing up and there are some methods which are more viable and relevant than on wasting up funds into something
which it isnt really that much effective then as a project owner then you would definitely go for the most efficient one.

promoting and trying to reach more people of course that's the goal...

Crypto developers holding hands-on campaigns are unlikely to have any other purpose than promoting their products. if using google ads of course the market is not right, then it makes crypto developers use signatures to promote their products.

Exactly. A project that wants to be presented to a wider group of people rents a signature area from forum users.
If the quality of posts written by the user is high, the project that wants to advertise, pays him for the fact that the advertisement of the project appears in the signature.

Signature is work like a billboards. You are renting space of Bitcointalk member here to give more exposure to your project. Exposure came from the other user who will read the post of the signature campaign participants. It's cheap compared when you pay ads on other website plus you can target the section you want to promote your project.

not only a billboard mate but also a direct link to every companies site in which people not only seeing the companies names and project but also can directly check the site for observations .

In most cases, people would act such as what you said and left their signature space blank for a while if they are not in a campaign or no one rent it. But there are still some individuals who are willing to wear the signature of a company either in purpose to promote their own referral link or their own desire. As of example this guy, he has left the campaign a few months back nevertheless he kept wearing the signature on his profile till now.

Wrong for the bold text, there are some users use their own signature for their own purpose like to get referrals by putting their referral link on the signature. The number of this kind of users is low indeed, but they exist and hard to recognize them.

Marketing is the best term for signature campaign. Some investors and crypto enthusiast visit on forum to see what new projects are on the line and some of those new projects have services for some participants such as signature.

There are plenty of ways how signature could help someone to be exposed and get some traffic. So it safe to say that signature especially with those high rank can helped projects.

It is a method of marketing and because the biggest bitcoin/cryptocurrency forum out in the internet apart from the subreddits is bitcointalk, therefore the abundance of signature campaigns in this forum.

New businesses attempt to get more users by running a campaign while projects funding themselves through token sale attempt to get more investors. So to answer your question, both maybe some more reasons.

Dont forget that you can wear any signature you want. Just because these campaigns are paid does not mean you have to take part. Instead grow your rank by earning merit first and then get into a campaign.

Yes, it's a way of promotion and advertising the project to give everyone in the forum the view of the project or whatever service is on someone's signature.

You see others have different signatures and they also are part of bounties that's common in the forum. But if you think that it's a good source of daily income, don't think of it like that. It's just an incentive that the forum has given to us.

The signature room has many opportunities for other projects to hire the services of the signature room, I think there have been a lot of the right people in this audience, even more successful than other media and this forum if it gives good exposure then the advertising will be long-term even yearly already in place. this forum up to now, means they have received a good deal in signature space advertising which always invests in it and what @Beparanf says is like a billboard providing advertising services.

it's simple if you have knowledge about give and take rule!

Nothing is FREE, new project promote their product or expect a smart engagement by using your signature space for gathering more revenue. If things work out they share some revenue to their promoters, i mean signature participants.

1. Not that cheaper because if we do consider the amount been spent on weekly basis then i can say that it is still a significant amount or budget.
2. This is right! When it comes to targeting the right audience then this would be the best place for that considering that this is the main bitcoin forum, then its no brainer that you would really consider this first.

Although results arent that guaranteed but we know that it is really worth on investing or allocating budget for marketing on this forum rather than on going into there mediums
but if there still budget then the more the exposure the more the better.

With bitcointalk signature it will attract lots of investors to connect with your projects, it has a duration depending on the project owners for how long they want to rent the bitcointalk signature space in the forum. but most time they requires from member rank and above, while some is from full member.
