The big baller is flexing his pecs and is now powering at 223 TH/s !!   Shocked
Still no sign of any blocks found though  Roll Eyes

The guy with 223THs is an idiot! A block is worth about $15,000. He'd be earning approximately $25,000 per week on a regular pool. So he needs to find nearly 2 blocks per week solo mining to beat pool mining.

And since he has must have to pay an astronomical electric bill or data center hosting bill, he's royally screwing himself.

done I am in with 950gh

I've got my 2 s1's there , and load balancing one s3 with pool#3 on bitsolo

I noticed the guy who found the last 2 blocks is gone now

If I made 50 BTC in the span of a week, I highly doubt I would still be mining.
It depends on how much I spent on the hardware to make that 50BTC a week.  If for example, I had purchased 250 batch 1 S3s for that 110TH/s, I'd have spent about 173BTC for the hardware alone (that's the original 0.75BTC per unit with the 7.7% refund).  I'm sure Bitmain might have worked out a better price if I ordered that much hardware, but since I don't know reseller or large-quantity-buyer discounts, I just posted the retail.  Anyway, I'd also need the PSUs to drive them, the electricity to power them and the facilities to handle them.  I'd certainly want to be mining considerably longer than a week to recoup my costs Smiley.

I would like to know this guy with the 180 + I am hoping he would pm me and let me know  whom he is.

math is easy enough  if he is running  s-3's over clocked he needs 360 to 400 of them. cost = 400 x .65 or 260 btc

I do wonder why would you trust the pool to pay you. it is a small pool.  if the guy got lucky and hit a 36 to 1 shot (2 blocks in a day)   would not the pool owner be tempted to run.

I am going to run 2 s-3 at it tonight.

almost 110TH, also the guy who found the last 2 blocks is back with 14+TH
Somebody's got some pretty serious firepower pointed there, that's for sure.  One address has 160TH/s... the lucky guy who found the pool's only 2 blocks is there with 15TH/s.  That "high roller" would expect to find a block about every 6 days with that hash rate at current difficulty.  $17,000 a week payday.  Not too shabby.

yeah but 160TH on a regular pool would net a little over 4btc a day, so about $2,500 daily..which is about the same as finding a block every 6 days

I bet hes banking on finding some quick back to back blocks?

We'll I wish them good luck with finding quick blocks. But these days, a pool like Slush's can go more than 24 hours without finding a block. And they have 4.5PHs.

I wouldn't risk my hash solo mining unless I had at least 1PHs.
