So I understand that when there are no miners you can't use these coins to buy something or trade?
Then you have to make it attracting to people to keep mining, I assume.

it just takes much longer. but yea, miners need to stay on it to eventually bring the diff back down. But I bet someone will then just buy big hash and bump it back up again.

Code needs better diff adjustment algorithm or it will continue as it seems someone wants to make mining as difficult as possible.

Thanks for the clarification Tim. My wallet processed block 4456, so all good here. Wish the diff would go back down to a reasonable level. I'm about to unplug my miners at this point But I know as soon as I do, that newly added ~200Th/s will go away and I'll wish I just let them run.

I bought a few big on bittrex this morning, and made a withdrawel to my wallet.
They status is completed and bittrex but, now almost 3 hours later, I received nothing in my wallet.
What can be the problem, I checked the wallet address, it's OK.

My wallet quit syncing too.  Cry

It is not that the wallet quit syncing it is because the last block that was found on the network was four hours ago. When the next block is found the wallets will be current until it gets more then 45~60 minutes before a block is found then it will show 'out of sync' again. Looks like once the diff hit 43 mil all of the big rigs moved off it. The current block is 4456 and that is also what the pools show.

Code:
09:38:26

{
"blocks" : 4456,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 43842389.23439009,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

The real merit of this coin will come precisely from not following the dependency of traditional income flows, but it being backed up by bullion and the links with ATM providers, etc.

We spent the early part of the week working on our Mac wallet (disaster as it turns our we will need to upgrade our source to at least .9.6 otherwise when we compile the mac wallet it works like a windows program trying to run in a mac environment....slow, crashes)  So that's where we are on that.

Bitcoin Core 9.2 based source you mean?

I hope so, your 8.6 wallet is woefully out of date, note the OpenSSL version you are using, heartbleed.

Please, please consider get your developers to add merged mining in the update.

You would have Terrahashes & probably Petahashes securing your network then as BTC mining pools could mine your blockchain at the same time ensuring a long long life for this coin.

   Hey guys sorry for not posting a lot this week, but we have been rather busy!!!  We spent the early part of the week working on our Mac wallet (disaster as it turns our we will need to upgrade our source to at least .9.6 otherwise when we compile the mac wallet it works like a windows program trying to run in a mac environment....slow, crashes)  So that's where we are on that.
   Then we started getting ready for the Chamber of Digital Commerce's event in DC.  HUGE SUCCESS!!!  We hit all 435 offices of the house of representatives in one day!!  Almost everyone I spoke with personally was very receptive, which is a good thing, and it seemed as though the house members were keen on the idea of getting to know Bitcoin and it's capabilities versus being blindsided by it.   We gave them all info on the Chamber so that they could reach out to us with questions as they developed.  Our hopes are to be able to stay in their ears as long as possible. We all know the banks and credit card companies have MILLIONS to spend on lobbyists where we do not.  Heck - those jerks make more in one quarter than the entire Bitcoin market cap.....  Believe me when I say it will be an uphill battle guys.  Stay involved and stay positive!!  As I get more updates I will be sure to share them with everyone!  Below is the link to our article.

Thanks Cintrondigital for answering mbaeichapareiko's question for me Smiley  Manhattan Pool has been very stable so far and I have not incurred any problems mining there.
I get tons of hard ware errors.
How much hashing power and what pool?

under clocked ant s1 @  160gh/s mining bigbullion

Which pool? or are you solo mining? (hope you're using  pool with 160gh/s)

If you're having trouble with manhattan, jump over to big.coin-miners.info or another pool and see if things improve.

Doing cryptocurrency stuff since 2010.
Hhhhhmm.... when can we expect to get some updates on the wallet?

How hard would it be to downport an actual version of bitcoin-core to the Bigbullion net?
