To profit decently in this industry, one has to be opened to the idea of thoroughly searching for highly prospective project tokens currently trading at almost Giveaway prices and investing in them. When they pick up speed and decent value, they tend to reward early investors greatly. There have been several stories and experiences shred by others that attest to this fact and claim. Invest early and you should be able to hit gold nice and early.

Actually now, I'm watching DEAPcoin. This is a coin for the game (Jobstribe if you ever heard), manga, and others. Has been listed in some big exchanges like OKEx, Bittrex, Bithumb, and also Indodax. It will be also real used especially for gaming and other utility. of course, I believe that it can grow well although now the price is still low. But, it has a good volume. Check it here:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deapcoin/

But of course, doing your own research is better because it will give no regret for following the others. moreover, think also about the use case of the coin and how the team manages and also develop the coin progress.

Currently, you can take a look at some new Defi projects with a market cap around $2M~3M, we can see the new trend of this year with DeFi, like LINK and KNC. So I think we will have the chance with these small-cap coins. I recommend Jarvis, they're very active since 2018, and its price raised 20x times recently.
That's very good advice. I believe this year is for decentralized finance projects. I will change my review style if I find any DeFi projects. A very fresh coin has a very high chance to lose money, but I like this project. I also like this Siacoin. This coin price is very low to invest in. The last year's price didn't change much.

Find DeFi projects, they are really trending big at the moment and make sure they aren't new DeFi projects, settle down and do some homework you will see them easily and also now that nothing has guarantee in crypto haven, invest only what you can afford to lose

Yeah, if anyone looking for small coins but has a great chance to take a shot in 2020, look for DeFi coin. But I expected there will bad and lazy coins with a brand DeFi to get people's attention and have nothing else. Op mentioned Sia which I rank mixed at best.
Well, Sia reminded me of 2017 a lot. I went through the SC chart and saw that it was quiet for a long time, but it was unclear if their team was still active. SC, I think, is about data storage, not DeFi.

I don't see the difference between VPN apps and blockchain VPN projects, I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only person feeling this way, I don't see any reason to invest in VPN blockchain projects, they work just as the VPN apps on your phones, no difference

None of the choice. Comparing the marketcap of both, it looks like orchid has a chance to grow but siacoin is an old coin that survive many bear scenarios. It does not below its ICO price so investors who hold dont have any loses yet.

A medium marketcap always have chance to go high as the room for improvement still open. I did trade siacoin before and gain some profits from it but i dont see it for long term goal.

I am looking for some defi projects that have a low to medium market cap.

I do not think it will work, there are a lot of traders like you who are finding low market capitalization because they have hope that it will grow and its price will become expensive but the thing is, it not possible in this time and most of the low market capitalization altcoins are dying and being delisted. Do not waste your money in a altcoins that have low market capitalization and also have low daily volume.

I think it is better if you will just make investment in altcoins that part of the top 10 highest market capitalizations and volume. The risks will be lessening if we will just buy an altcoin that is popular and patronizing by many traders and investors.

I prefer to hold SiaCoin than Orchid. SC is an old coin with experience in a hard situation in the past, and SC can survive so far and have a chance to increase. The last highest price in 2017-2018 is somewhere about 500 satoshi if I am not mistaken, so I think SC will have the potential to reach another high price again. But many coins, not just SC and Orchid, have a negative side right now because we don't see a good sign from the crypto market to increase, so we need to be patient.

Whether this to shill or not, it gave me an idea to search for that orchid coin. They are still in negative ROI. But the projects product is awesome. I've been looking for some private networks and was a biy surprised that orchid has such features. 12% gains within 24 hrs?
We can still give this coin a chance. You can check TA about that coin here: https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/OXTUSD/

I agree with you, Defi has been a good discourse lately. The hype of Defi is so great that every time there is a new Defi project, it is as if the exchange wants to register it directly in their exchange. For example, Oikos and BZX both projects succeeded in gaining the attention of many exchanges in just a short time.

It is great to invest in some active project specially those who are still at a low value to take opportunity while they are still on early stage before they finally bloom.
But we should be careful because some of them might just be around for awhile and leave us soon as they achieve their goal.

I am not familiar with Orchid, it's my first time to hear that altcoin.
But SiaCoin is already old like around 2017 when I first heard about that altcoin, there are some exchanges that I use to trade before that there is a Sia Coin pairs.
Orchid is still -47.18% from its ICO (ROI). While Sia Coin no loss since its ICO, which is also good for those people who were able to acquire this altcoin during ICO and still holds now, they still don't have any losses.

I see good altcoin CAPP, they are cooperating with amazon, which are famous in all world, But Capp token on the bottom, is it strange???!
The valuation is not based on the cooperation that has already made and it will be helping the project to get the short term hype and you can expect from the result of development progress to pump the price of CAPP token. It's not strange to see that

It seems like you are shlling for the above mentioned coins. In my opinion, these are not some good coins which we should have looked. Moreover, expecting a good suggestion here is not a good idea because everyone will shill for their invested coin.

Exactly, we will all be bias since we will be giving our favorite coins as our suggestion.
For me, it would be nice if we discuss a particular coin, it's potential, its pros and cons, and etc, we would see more constructive reply.

I have participated in the discussion in different threads and all  I would say is just look at the CMC.

https://coinmarketcap.com/

Any coin with at least a decent trading volume (based on your personal evaluation) with a very cheap price or undervalued, that's something to look for as a good investment in the future as eventually the altcoins market will have its time to recover.

The two you have mentioned are quite good. I am not really the type of person that looks into new projects, I just prefer to buy them when they are grown and well established. I had some really bad experience with trying to buy new tokens, they are usually a disappointment. It can be good to buy a new token if you can find a good one, at least your money will grow with it as the project grows.

But, what annoys me is that most of these new projects, you will see some of them that looks good and you’re convinced, then you invest and the next thing you start hearing different stories. Sometimes it can be that the team abandoned it because they can’t cope, or it can be that you have been holding it for years and they are not making any progress because no new investors, and other problems. It’s just so annoying. I do understand that not all projects will be successful, but for now I’ve made up my mind to stay clear for sometime.

I might have to agree, the account was made last 2017 but only have 2 post and it was posted just today, so it is clearly a wake up account  to shill the coins he stated above. I'm convinced.

And without even visiting his profile, you can actually smell something like asking for very unpopular coins. Not even a loser investor would actually ask this one. No offense meant.
He even tried to make it a bit legit by inserting SIA coin at the end, heh. Try too hard to shill an unknown coin by piggyback on Chain Link too.

We all know this kind of tactic is shilling a coin. And yes, most of the time people have vested interested on those coins suggested by them. So if you are a sincere investor, better do your own digging and assessment for the coin. Of course, they will always suggest where they put their investments. As a crypto user, you should know what are the important factors to look at for each project. And on my end, I always look at the actual use case of the platform. Can it really help the community? Do they have active users that can sustain the market?

I'm currently considering ANKR and CELR for long term hold, but I'm yet to decide since I hold very few altcoins considering the risk involved for long term. I'm just so impressed with their development so far. I was also considering DREP but ever since presale investors funds were released, price kept being low so much so that the mainnet upgrade didn't affect the price. The sure altcoin to hold is ETH in my opinion, lets see what ETH 2.0 brings.
