Merit may be a hindrance for new members, especially for account farmers- it'll be their worst nightmare, if they haven't realized it yet. You will notice some high ranking members having a negative trust because of it, and I hope the red paint on their account will stop them.

Merit can be a good ally for those who track account farmers and bounty abusers, it can make you a detective for a short time using it, and you will be learning more things because of it.

Like I am doing and learning.

Things I have learnt:
# Groups of people are exchanging merits with each others. These groups are mostly friends to each others and they know each others in person.
# In local boards people creating some nonsense contents in local language and meriting that contents. Case#13 is a good example.
# There are confusion on punishing merit abusers. Although in this unofficial guideline section gives us an impression to leave RedTrust For the abusers.
# Some people in the forum are really ass hole. They feel proud of themselves for abusing the system.
# The forum need more DT members to tag these abusers

....
I can bring out more as I go but for the time being, thank you merit system. It was much needed for this forum.

Gaining merits today is hard but its not solid, one day we can brake it. We have to move forward and let the failures of others as a lesson.

The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach - waiting for a gift from the sea.

English is very important in life, unfortunately when I'm not good at it.
On the merits, I find that although many have tried to create quality articles but sometimes not the merit point
I am very proud that I gave a merit to an article that I found very interesting

The truth is that most new members with English skills aren't interested in improving them. If you give them merits, or a chance to fly their sig spammer banners, then they will pretend to support you. If you remove those two bonuses, then they don't wnt to know,

Thank goodness that the merit system is a blocking facility, and not a ranking benefit. It is working well to clean up the boards.

They do not spam. But they use merit as a tool to boost the rank of sub account. Is this the way to contribute to forum? This is true or false?

I do not use repost system to denounce anyone. I actually saw many actions like this. But I did not try to make accusations to get merit.

I just came to the forum, I did not know about the old merit system. And I see a lot of complaints about the new merit system. It's really hard to achieve merit, but it really increases the quality of posts.

if you want to earn merit you have to try more effort: weak english you have to learn more. Knowledge not enough to get merit, you have to try to improve it. That's good for yourself in this market.

I respect the people who are contributing to the group, they are really helping the newbies. Recently, I saw T'man ( lengendary ) help IndoHunter ( jr.member ) learn English with a reward is 10 merit LOL.
But there are some that just focus on enhancing their sub account
Honestly, I also had that intention when I first came in. But now I realize, you must give away before you want to get. When I get the merit that I try to earn, it's amazing.
