For me the biggest problem for bitcoin poker sites are the design and some automated poker players.
Because 80% of losing chance if the players is bot. than true players because you can use your skills to fight those players on pokers.
and its a true cards holding of every player not like on bots that its random cards hold.

There are sites with bad graphics and clunky UI, but there are definitely some with good graphics that don't make the eyes bleed and butter-smooth UI, so that isn't as big a problem.

As others have said, relatively low traffic is the biggest problem right now.

Freerolls have their place in letting new players try out the site risk free, but as far as growing traffic, I think competitive bonuses/promos, lower rake/higher rakeback, worthwhile vip programs, guaranteed tourneys and good graphics/UI are better for attracting action players who generate rake and help grow the site.

Graphics is something I can live with, but the thing that irritates me the most is the speed.
Some poker sites take hours to load. By the second click, i am gone.

103 days, 21 hours and 10 minutes.
well yeah poker sites usually dont put in a lot of efforts in trying to make it look eye appealing besides that a really huge problem is that a very small amount of players usually play it and there are no tournament because of that, therefore its not interesting to play

Most Bitcoin poker sites are not that great at the moment looks or player base but that will change in the near future. We do have some poker sites with good player base, Betcoin.ag for an example of probably the best and looks are not to poor in my opinion. Normal BItcoin casinos I don't think are that bad either, guess I'm easily pleased.

The only great poker website is pokerstars. Only no Bitcoin accepted there payments are good and fast. Large playerfield and high prices or big losses.

My biggest issue is how ugly they all look, never mind the crap player base.

Provided the software is somewhat playable the single most important issue is player base.  How do you compete though when the fiat sites have had 5-10 years head start versus bitcoin sites.

The look and also the hash, don't know why it's like only 1 player get super lucky. for me i prefer live bitcoin poker than this poker. because for me it's like more fair for all of the player.

Got to agree with the op, there are very few players around in the various sites which is frustrating.  I also am not a fan of having to download poker software which a lot of the sites require you to do.

The download part is quite common. To be honest I don't really have a problem with that. I actually like it, since the browser options are quite limited for me. I was used downloading poker clientes before I played with bitcoins, so it was not an issue to me. I would like to see the clients being integrated with holdem manager etc, I lost that and I actually miss that interface.

The real gambler doesn't care about how ugly the game looks, they care about how fair the game is

But without attractive site and design no one want to go there to try the site although it is provably fair game there and have any good games. And the most important thing they wont even attract big whale to played on their site

Agreed. I think the biggest problem with many BTC Poker sites faced and then shut down was lack of players on ring table, there were more than enough players to play the freerolls but rarely anyone sat on ring tables and its ok at first but it becomes a huge problem for site owners because they don't make anything from people playing freerolls. Another problem is the trust issue, the players feel like the software can be used for cheating and which is why they avoid playing with actual money.

This could be a solution to it: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cypherpoker-mental-poker-p2p-poker-1206150

The lack of intensity... You feel the intensity when you're playing against real people.

Try Crypto-games.net. They have a wide range of games, ranging from poker to slots, and they're all visually appealing. I've gambled there once or twice before, and made profit xD

I ran away as soon as I could, didn't want to get tempted into gambling some more. But every once in a while I do get tempted by just-dice, no matter how ugly it is.

Well, I guess the cards issued is not in accordance with the expectations, and I think it's because the script system that has been set is indeed to make the player lose, or maybe luck was not on my side lately

I still use to play poker on facebook, maybe this is because it loads faster than bitcoin base poker sites which doesn't also look real unlike having the real table players.
Do you guys think FIRST PERSON POKER site is possible to create, I like to feel the cards are laid in front of me.   Would love to see if it already exist though.

Try to Google "Touchable 3D holograms" Smiley. At this moment it's still Star Trek stuff, but maybe in a few decades it could turn to reality.

lol that you be very funny, or poker sites taking advantage of 3D graphic cards, like movies do. That would be a great experience overall, but I don't really feel the need of all that. For me something that would not hut my eyes after a few hours would be more than enough for now.

It will be fun, you can see your opponent blink his eyes and you can then sense, he is bluffing or something, such stuff lol.
maybe a feature like you can also chat conference to all players on the table, a chance to disrupt is allowed lol it will really be fun. Maybe you can cheer someone who is about to do a hero call Smiley

have u played in betcoin.ag before? i think it has best ui, so you don't describe it imo, which site are you referring? betcoin poker has big community and with full casni games, sportsbook, imo it is the best casino in btc world

i agree betcoinpoker.ag is the only poker room that have better user interface than other bitcoin poker room sites at the moment. most of poker room didn't pay attention on how players wants a fun table not boring and ugly.
i can recommend betcoinpoker.ag as they are leading in bitcoin poker with tons of feedback.

I agree too.  I've been playing at Betcoin.ag for quite awhile and I've been playing on their network (the WPN) for an even longer amount of time.  The network they're a part of has been around for about decade and they have a pretty good track record.
