On airdrops it was possible to earn good money when the market grew. Now they give almost nothing.
Sadly I have never make a profit from airdrop. The first airdrop I received is Voise, when I registered for the airdrop it took long to receive 105 Voise token airdrop. I have be holding it till now the price is $1.17, I just left it in my wallet hopping some day the price would become profitable.
The biggest airdrop I've heard about is Hydro. But unfortunately I didn't participate in this airdrop. The price reached 2000$ for 200,000 tokens received for airdrop. There was also a news subscription to Ontology, for which the ONT tokens were given.
I get great benefits from following the Bitcoinwhite airdrop which has now changed its name to Bitwhite. By the time I follow, I get 1500 BTW from claim every week on Telegram bots made by Bitwhite team. In early February of 2018 I sold all BTW coins at a rate of $ 0.9 and I earned $ 1350. Amazing!
I see that now it is very gaining momentum namely airdrop, but what will happen if the SEC starts to regulate and airdrop too and after all, you can also say about the exchanges, because they simply can not add tokens that were implemented namely airdrops
I think it can happen if an airdrop has good project and planning so that airdrop will have a successful ICO if an ICO is successful then airdrop price will soar and it is certain that those who follow the project will benefit greatly if they are willing to be patient until the target on the project is reached
Personally my greatest success in an airdrop was ~ $30 in case of the highest price of the received coin. But personally I know the person who managed to receive for airdrop ~ $1000
How do you guys find these crazy airdrops? O_o
I mean I have been watching that topic for like 1 or 2 months but all are tons of airdrops that distribute like 1 coin per person and that only after doing a ton
of sharing, following and sugarcoating their stuff.
I haven't anywhere seen something like ontology or similar stuff, where you only write down your email adress, get like 2000 coins for it AND
i goes up to mentionable prize, like 8$ per coin with ontology.
Do these kinds of "almost no work, but shit ton of profit made" kind of airdrops even exist?
At least at the normal airdrop watch lists I don't see anything like that.
Hundreds of new airdrops every day but most of them are jokes.

Which currently are worth like 10 cents at best. cummulative of course.
So I can't stop myself from highly doubting that people here got airdrop with coins worth hundreds or tousand of dollars.
Where do you people get these kinds of infos about these insane airdrops?
Is there some special group or channel that I am no part of?
I feel like I am missing something important and that the normal airdrop/ico watch pages won't bring me to any of the real good airdrops.
Any ideas?

The prize earned from Airdrop is a small amount and I do not believe in the value of coins distributed during Aidrops. Therefore I do not want to waste my time, and I am more interested in following Bounty Champaign because of the bigger prizes.
Sometimes some airdrops pays more than the bounty campaigns like the social medias. I have a friend who received an airdrop than ran into thousands of dollars and after conversion to the local currency turned into millions. Airdrop still pays only to gather info about them first.
from many airdrops that I followed none of them paid, I finally decided to stop joining the airdrop.

I have not been able to get much from airdrops. The biggest profit I got from airdrop is hydro and haveen. That's the only one that gave some good payouts. Cahsed out 700$ from the both airdrops cummulatively
In airdrop you can earn without doing a hard task or without doing anything. Unlike in signature or any social media campaign that you need to comply their rules and do some task to get paid.
HYDRO was a sweet dream! Now I have hope with Dfinity, NoBS, KNDC.

Airdrop HYDRO has brought me $ 300 .. but if I sell more late. that's $ 3000. omg i have missed it.
For some COINS, it's not as if you hold them for long periods of time. For TRX, I think TRX is overvalued, even though its price has gone up very high. But I'm not going to invest in it.
If I have a few mins to kill during the day (usually when waiting for ETH/BTC to hit the exchanges from my wallet) Ill sign up for an airdrop or two. Most of the ones that I have either haven't hit exchanges or are worth under $1.

Do you remember REBELLIOUS Airdrop, which was provided as 4500 REBL to everyone who participated, which at peak reached over an ETH and that time ETH value was ~ $1200, nothing better than that.
Next to it is Ontology (ONT)
I got $500 from eBTC and like $750 from SugarExchange. But recently there are no good airdrops as far as I know. A lot of crap and the market is terrible in general
