This is an old topic but I decided to update.. my biggest earning to date have been .071 bitcoin... as of today that is around 2000 USD. This was a one off and it was on a game that happened on this forum. I only had to make a simple prediction: price of bitcoin at a certain moment a month into the future and miraculously I got it right to the nearest 10USD. Not bad for a 1 minute job of posting a result and a 1 minute time of setting up a bitcoin address.
my biggest winner is only about $200 which I won last year...

surely you use big capital to be able to win that much! I have never used large capital to play gambling so the results I get are little. You are very lucky.
Not been always the case because we have seen some of big hits came from small bets which we can say that it is really possible with gambling and i did able to hit $1000+ in on a $10 bet
on slots which i do remember and cant really be forgotten since this is the biggest amount that i had won on my gambling activity and this is why i do still play even up to now on hoping
to hit that again but of course im much pretty aware that spending much on gambling would be always bad and you should be mindful about your actions because if you
dont then you would just basically spending out those money again back in the casino.

This is an old topic but I decided to update..

indeed the thread is old but the subject of the thread is something that can always be discussed, not least because these discussions help people not to become greedy thinking that if they sell things or if they make loans for gambling they will win and make big profits when in fact in real life people have more losses than victories and only casino owners do well

honestly I can't remember what my biggest win was, maybe it was $65 from a sports bet I made last year or before last year

Its only 1 month when 2020 came around the corner but I would like to know what your largest win is so far and if you have set yourself some targets for this year.

Below you can see mine that I won a couple weeks ago. However I only owned 20% of this jackpot pool ticket that won 24.000€ I scooped 4800€ and some pocket money for a 1.2€ contribution to the ticket.

That's pretty neat win if you ask me, I bet the odds of you winning we're pretty high.
So as to answer your question, I've never ever won that much amount of money in a single bet, the maximum money I won of my bet was 17 times of the money I wagered, I guess luck is even greater factor than strategy in gambling.

this win was made in a jackpot pool bet. So there are no odds involved in pool betting.

I didn't have very high wins in my gambling history. I don't bet much, and therefore I don't win much. What
is interesting for me is when I win some high odd, like odds higher than 3, or combined odds higher than 10.
And this happens for me to win nice amount, for me that is around $20, with my couple dollar bets. And when
I win I am happy for the money, but even happier because I hit some higher odds!
Not that bad amount for someone who don't bet that much. With this kind of amount, you are controlling yourself and you don't want to go as far as you can because there might be something that could go wrong if you lose your control.
As long as you are happily winning with that amount and you describe and accept it as an acceptable amount that makes you happy, that's more than enough already.

Indeed, one should not be so greedy because we can lose and the losses could be unrecoverable. We have to play with small amounts and accumulate winnings. Self-control is important, we also have to be careful in choosing an online gaming platform; it must be of good reputation.

I think when we can win for the biggest money, that will make us feel happy, and sometimes we can forget about anything except celebrating with our family and friends. So far, I don't get any biggest winning because I feel that to get that big winning will need big luck, which I don't think I can get it with ease. So congratulation on people who already got their big winning, don't use all of your win money for something that you don't need but you can save that money for another thing for your life.

That was normal, even before during the ancient time there was always greedy people.
Thats why gambling games have persisted and flourished through centuries. It is human nature to gamble and try their luck and stopping them from doing so only has a bad effect. Governments learnt how to monetize this and thus a nice symbiosis has happened.

You are right, the more time you spent in gambling the more chances of losing you have.
This is correct though. Dont put up an example of professional gamblers though. They are no longer gambling but only promoting casinos to get paid. The have become the house now.

Quote
It is good if you have content of what winning you had and come back when you are ready again to gamble.
Thats right. Being wise about your wins and not playing anymore is a correct choice. But few people can stop the urge to play again because the greed is strong inside them.

My biggest winning so far in gambling when I was accidentally won in betting site because of having wrong placing of my bet. I was so happy at that time.
I have heard such incidents before but most of them were losses, glad to hear that you had a win.

Honestly, I haven't been gambling all that much in 2020 and can't say that mine would be worhty of discussion but I have made 120 bucks from a parlay once on February, wasn't really all that big and I even wagered 30 bucks so it wasn't even that big of an odd neither, wasn't surprised when I won, it was on NBA and I think one of them was Lakers I suppose, can't remember right now.

I however lost 700 dollars in total once, which wasn't really all that troublesome because it was mostly the winnings I had combined in a poker place, never had a HUGE win there, I had only small and tiny ones that I kept on increasing and increasing until I could have 700 dollars because there was a poker tourney there, I finally had it and joined and unfortunately couldn't placed so that was all gone.

For me in 2020, I still haven't gotten a big win, only won $ 70 when playing dice. Some jackpot tickets haven't some were successful,
but I'm still optimistic that I can get a big win this year. I have a $ 5,000 profit target that I need get this year from gambling. Hopefully
in 2020 I can achieve my target.
Being optimistic isnt bad but in terms of gambling? I wont recommend that much. Why? it would push you hard to play since you would
definitely try to reach up that goal, for investment then it would be ideal but for gambling? it should be crossed out into your options or
goals because we know on what are the things that would be affected if things go wrong before reaching out that target.
$5k profit is indeed big and this cant easily be achieved imho.

Before thinking about cashing out that big, what's your investment capital. How much are you willing to risked to get that $5000 you soul desire. Be cautious about your capital because some gamblers make the mistake of not taking into account how much they have spent so far gambling that when they realize profit they think they have won but if you minus how much they have spent on capital, you'll find out they're at total lost.

We're just at the beginning of the second quarter (2Q) of 2020 so there's still time to make your desires come into reality if only you'll be determined, focus and act smart.

One major hindrance we human beings have is that of greediness. And gambling since involves money and all want to have more and more results into addictions, loss of money, etc. If people continue in this way it would lead to heavy losses as not everyone is going to make money and one would not be rich enough that they may have enough backup as well.

My biggest winning was around $3000 but few days later I have lost half of this amount due to the greediness. It was fun to not care about the rest of the funds after every bet but the lack of money management cost me $1500. So far, I am in the negative side of the ruler due to the quantity of lost amount over the winnings.

Its been few years already when I won in a small lottery, its a 9 digit number if I remember it right and about $500.
I guess you are already lucky enough, though $500 is not a lot, but winning in a lottery says you are lottery.
Actually I've won also, but just once, IIRC, that was just around 100 usd and I stopped betting on lottery anymore since I know I can't win again.

My biggest winning came from sports betting, I won a parlay, until now I still keep betting, just sad that NBA season was halted due to covid-19.
for gambling on the sports ground, in my opinion is very promising because we can see more information first before the game starts and also you can see the condition of the previous game from the stamina and strategy used so that you can determine which is the best to be a winner.
Of course that's why I love it, and when I like to target big winning, I usually do a parlay, but I tell you, it's not easy, although you have the information that you can analyze, but betting on parlay to get a big odds is like also betting in a lottery where you get less chance of winning.
I am sure you guys heard about the system parlays, even if one of the N bets fails there is a chance to win a percentage of the bet amount. Parlay betting is very risky and having an exceptional sense of gambling can lead to a huge win in live betting. Less chance of winning is the heart of huge promotions by gambling websites, everyone is supposed to take it seriously before depositing the funds. Gambler is responsible for every lost penny in big odds coupons, from my experience.

Its been few years already when I won in a small lottery, its a 9 digit number if I remember it right and about $500.

I think im just lucky that time because we are in the mall when I happened to see a small lottery called keno lotto. While waiting for my sister (she go shopping) I decided to buy tickets, the results are every 10 minutes. I didnt expect to win and I consider that day as my lucky day since its not easy to hit the jackpot especially in lottery.

You successfully predicted a nine digit number, and only won $500?

That must have been an incredibly small bet.

Realistically a 9 digit number implies a one in 10 million odds, assuming a 5% house edge you should have made 9.5 million times your wager amount.

Therefore if you won $500, you must have wagered 0.5 cents.
