I doubt if this is true. Either they are just shilling or pure fabricated news for fun. First of all, if he wants to hide his money so his wife and the court will not be able to get it then why the heck does they announce it to the whole world?! Second, if I'm worth more than 1/2 billion then I will buy more that 750 btc. Third, they are in legal battle I think his lawyer knows better than to keep their mouth shut on about everything.
From a financial point of view, this is a very good and thoughtful move, but it may well be that he will not have time to use these bitcoins, now he does not have the best moment in his life.
He made the decision to save his wealth from unexpected things. I think the investment calculation certainly requires great courage based on the crypto market which is still unstable, he dares to enter the market and will boost the situation.
