This news have been making waves for sometime now and it's a great push to Bitcoin.
Since this year, we have alot of personalities endorsing and promoting Bitcoin, both sports athletes, artistes and business tycoons.

Good, Bill Gates (the real Bill Gates) used to send me a message about each week last year. I know from him that his wealth was made reading books, at least this is what he was saying (that each day he is reading at leat one hour a book).  Compared to other celebrities of the internet he is a good friend, and maybe learning from you that he praised the bitcoins, I will receive from him some bitcoins some day. I asked him for a donation last year to continue to work on the educational website for students that I started in 2012 (show-my-homework.com), but never received this donation from him.

You should have posted another video, this one has just a small segment of 10 seconds with Bill Gates talking about Bitcoin.
There are longer video's of him talking about Bitcoin, they've probably been posted here already though.

Here's one:

I ve also seen these videos and they help popularity but considering Gates hold about a tenth of the worlds wealth which is currently dominated by fiat and tangible assets he will seek numerous advice before he gets involve at any front with BTC. He will personally buy if he thinks he can better the whole world with it. I ve been listening to the man in recent times and he sounds more ecocentric.

Considering his charity campaigns, his support is much more inspiring to me now then when he was just a guy with lots of money.

This is great to hear, because Bill Gates is really a well known individual that I think if many bitcoin enthusiast would surely see his video would sure think bitcoin as a good investment and would not panic because of a negative news about bitcoin and it is good to see Bill Gates supports bitcoin a philanthropist that cares about defeating the poverty on this world.

Bill Gates has praised the bitcoins, it is a big thing for the bitcoin community. More such personalities should openly support the bitcoins which will help to gain the trust and popularity among the common people.

This video interview i believed was long time released but full of encouragement because when he said nobody can stop bitcoin this is the time i was fully convinced to join the bitcoin and altcoin saga. Everytime there is an attack against the bitcoin i will always rely on this very inspirational interview and message to have a full confidence again.

Actually it is a very old video, but it is still very encouraging to see Bill Gates who is one of the richest person in the world to speak positively on bitcoin, unlike JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon who is always bashing bitcoin, I believe blockchain technology will change the way on the banking industry in the future.

In this case, we should expect a large increase in the bitcoin rate, we must buy as soon as possible
This is old news and Bitcoin's price would increase whether Bill Gates talked about it or not.
It's just amazing that bright people like Bill Gates praise Bitcoin, but such words don't really affect Bitcoin's price.

Bill Gates sees it (bitcoin) as an inexpensive form of handling large transactions and also a form of fast and reliable payment. While he seems to be bullish about it, he tends to look down on the anonymity feature of the coin—which in the contrary is praised by people who uses it daily—and dropping down statements saying "our customers want to be known and not anonymous" but still it's a good thing overall. Also, Gates and his orgs are also invested on Vodaphone's M-pesa payment system, which does the same as what bitcoin does but isn't anonymous, so it may be another marketing strat to promote their services without being too obvious about it and riding bitcoin's back to get what they wanted.

I already saw a video clip showing Bill Gates talking and praising about bitcoin.  I cannot remember if this is it.  But it just shows that Gates know and show that he is really the institution of technology.  He appreciates it because he knows exactly what it is.  Unlike other people who are just criticizing and saying that bitcoin is a fraud.  And after days, you will see that they will buy more bitcoins.

I saw it on a video.
He thinks bitcoin is here to stay.
That doesn't mean he invested in bitcoin.
As far as i know the video title was Nobody can stop bitcoin.

That doesn’t mean he invested in bitcoin? I think exactly the opposite: the way he talks it would be quite surprising if he doesn’t have any bitcoin at all. He doesn’t need bitcoin because he is rich enough but rich people tend to diversify and he would be a hypocrite talking like that if he hasn’t bought some btc, just see for himself how it works. I bet he has used at least one exchange and some hard wallet.

That clip of Bill Gates complimenting bitcoin has been around for a year or years already if I remember correctly. Well yeah they definitely help a lot in terms of getting bitcoin's name out there, but they never stated if bitcoin is the cryptocurrency that they like/believe the most, or if bitcoin will stay in the top 1 spot for long in coinmarketcap or not; that I would definitely like to know.
