cryptocurrency is like is like a knife, you can use it to kill a person or you can use it to slice vegetables and meats to make a good dish with your love ones. There are some truth in what he said. Many investors today get rekt with the new ICO scams or pump and dump tokens.

I think Bill Gate said this because of the decentralize nature of crypto currency and he never view the positive side of crypto currency which is the reason why he believe is that bitcoin and other cryptocurrenccy only encourage crime and fraud. In the meantime, we got to do something because these people will centralize crypto currency which is what they are planning to do and they have already won in the ICO sector.

Why would you believe them? because they are millionaire or successful man? Please don't depends your faith on them if you really believe on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency do what you heart say. Remember you are the ones you will decide your own faith and not them.

I mean yes crypto is anonymous but I think it will slowly shift into the stage where you can participate in certain transactions only when your identity is revealed but only to the people that need to know it and only to the extent necessary, Look for instance at Civic project.

So he is right but there is a solution to what he is saying. Even exchanges have their KYC (know your customer) already so they can identify who is participating in their transactions.

I dont really expect that from him that logic seems to be biased,that is why i am unfollowing him from all his social media accounts.I really do understand that his intention was to warn us,but that statement could make our market scramble what a jerk.Soon he will realize that cryptocurrencies are not that bad and im sure he will be too late to join us.

This market is the future, but with his words one can agree, because a large number of ISO is a fraud that steals people's money and then you will not prove anything.

you certainly have some things mixed up here. anonymity is in cash all the time in crypto sometimes (if chosen)

I too read that news. He didn't mean anything bad about crypto currencies. He is first person who gave interview exclusive on BBC and all are very positive note about bitcoin.
