Honestly i get irritated with the rate of scammers in the space right now thanks for the information i hope this will go a long way for us to be careful enough to read thoroughly and observe every detail because they have so many methods of making people  fall for this.

i bet in the end the industry becomes as arrogant as the western and eastern world'S billionaires that protect themselves and their wealth in a way from others that they live like in an information bubble like buffet

Binance users are receiving letters with an invitation to test a new application for Windows for a reward of 0.5 BTC, which 'will go to your Binance account. All you need to do is download and enter your data.

This is phishing! Attackers try to get personal data in this way, to access your money. Binance does not distribute 0.5 BTC for testing Windows applications. Be careful!

these phishers are everywhere, the waves plattform also suffers from them,

waves regualrily does airdrops, and then phishers are camouflaging as the waves dev. team to phish private data. they even approach people privately, those who are new to this, can be deluded easily.

it will create a surveilance system that also makes it difficult for new startups to appear trustworthy as they cant fund countless security certificates.

regards

How could you even think this would be real.

Guys, be careful, now there are many cases of fraud. Do not visit suspicious links, carefully check the addresses of sites. Do not believe anyone who promises you money and stuff.

very useful. thanks for the information.

a few months ago, binance also rejected rumors that binance had been hacked. the rumor was first spread because of the tweet of John McAfee who received a lot of information about the potential hacking that befalls the binance.

then, through tweeter account CEO Binance Changpeng zhao informed that binance only have system constraints, because there is data that does not match the binance replica server database.

but I do not understand why binance can be exposed to pishing? whether there is a system that is not connected, because sometimes hackers take advantage of that opportunity.

is it now normal again?

Those who are greedy of Bitcoin are the ones who mostly fell on this booby trap of scammers. This is obvious phishing site. Who the hell will give 0.5 BTC to those who will log in in their Phishing Site?? Think twice before thinking about it.

Anyway, thanks for informing those who don't know this yet but the email has spread weeks ago already and I got one email too. I ignored it because I know its a scam.

Thank you for the warning and for informing us because I haven't received that e-mail yet. I am just wondering how did they got your e-mail address and how did they know that you are using binance?

There was a thread created yesterday: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.37714723
Could you please add a screenshot of the email so we can see the send address, I would like to see if they're spoofing the domain.
As per the above thread, their domain is: [email protected]
And the screenshot:

Thank you for the screenshot, I would have replied that it would be better if he could provide a screenshot but I saw your post when i scrolled down.

It will interest you to know that some persons will download this app and fill in their data without doing some diligent research.
0.5 BTC ( $4000+ ) for downloading an app! only the greedy ones will fall for this.
