Biggest one is Binance. And they are taking action of developing DEX. And as they say it wll be users' choice which exhange will they use while both will be exist at the same time.

The largest exchange did a coin, which reduces the commission by half. Coin not is bad, this decision have a luck. Coin will grow, so long as the stock exchange will be live.

The company profits from trades by taking a cut of the transaction in fees. When fees become irrelevant because of DEX then Binance will be a scrapheap that nobody will use.

I think Binance is not cool. It is a failed coin which will become even more useless than it is now as soon as decentralised exchanges become common.

The BNB token and the exchange are not worth the hassle.
