I am a new trader who has been trying to analyse the market but couldn't find anything. I have also been trying to identify the so called " gems " in the market but so far have been unsuccessful. What do we look in coins? What does determine their price movement? What shall I chase while looking for coins/gems? I really want to learn and invest.
If anyone can help me with this, I'd really appreciate it.
If any reason at all. Its not easy to find a gem that could do 100x or more just easily. If there is, there is a huge risk associated with it and sometime its hard to know if its gonna do a major multiplier. Most traders are kinda unique and even fundamental analysis can even just say so if its a good token or coin to invest with. But for mex of course I could recommend to bet on a new project.

Actually I'm not sure about tokens from the BNB network because most of them don't last long and have low quality but not all of them I've followed their community which until now still survives and seems still good to use as an investment there. are TokoCrypto token(TKO), Safepall(SFP), Seedify.fund(SFUND). they look to be going back up soon.

It's always about the demand of every coin that's determining their prices.

So the higher the demand, the better price that they've got. And as you've mentioned Binance, it can really increase anytime soon because bitcoin is doing well.

When bitcoin is performing very well, it's also giving other altcoins the signal that will make them perform good too.

So, regardless of what the project is about, all coins should increase in price soon? Am I right?

There is a chance that upon release they could go up in prices. The question is, is the price increase just due to hype or it is really a solid project that investors are willing to pour their money on it?

So you really need to do your own investigation, not just invest because of the hype. But if you want to skip this, maybe it's good to see at the top 10 altcoins and see which coins you want to invest asa a beginner.

I don't suggest anyone to follow it but until now I still believe in binance coins like ETH and BNB if you really want to choose a safe and potentially better coin, choose both coins and I'm sure the two coins won't die either.  as long as the bitcoin market is still safe.

Fundamental and hype. Both have become important things when you wanna try to search the gem. Searching the gem was not an easy task and you must always try to do various research. Don't you see a token called GMT/stepn? This was the hidden gem last month and it was increasing a lot drastically. I guess the exchange site can also become a clue about the hidden gem as well.

What does determine their price movement?
Demand, supply, hype

In this case when you are looking for the hidden gem or good ROI and you can try to join in the IEO that launched on binance or various IDO platforms. Im sure that you can earn good money but the bad thing is if it's so hard to join or get a spot.

Does it sounds right to you? Of course not. 99.9% projects are going to zero sooner or later. There are more than 18 000 projects. most of them are scams made only to suck money from investors. It definitely not as you said. Market is not a magic place where everyone is earning because everything is growing.

If you are new ... give up with this market cycle. Do your best to prepare for next market cycle (3-5 years). Lear about crypto, about market, about technical and fundamental analysis. During this market cycle limit your actions to investment in the safest and well known projects. Bitcoin/ETH/BNB

Not everytime, sometimes the price of altcoin declines when the price of Bitcoin increase but the real fact is no one knows when and what project will explode, the random project may increase 500% overnight so it can't be predicted with any kind of analysis, its just a whale thing.
