Ano ba naging usapan nila?
They have representative on Senate I believe, though yung topic is more on crypto adoption and not about this issue.
Sa tingin ko naman ay magiging ok na ang Binance especially now that they are working closely with our government and probably, baka sila pa ang maging main source ng knowledge natin about cryptocurrency. Baka ginawa lang talaga ang issue na ito para siraan si Binance, buti nalang at BSP knows what to do as well and willin talaga makipagcooperate si Binance.

There’s a recent articles spreading online about this one, the Infrawatch PH Thinktank urged BSP to suspend and Ban Binance from operating because of the license issues and I think, this is very inappropriate.

Binance already announce about their application with VASP License, and now with this? I think this is just for their personal interest especially with PDAX, though not directly from them pero mas prefer kase ng nakakarami ang Binance kaya for sure kahit anong paninira nila dito, BSP will still not listen to them especially now Binance is cooperating with our government.

Ano ang masasabe mo dito? Mababan or suspend ba ang Binance?

Mas maigi na maregulate yung crypto in my own opinion than banning it kasi andaming mawawalan at tayo lang din yung mahihirapan. And as far as I know yun yung target ng binance dito sa Pilipinas.

Mukhang malapit na sa part na yan.

1) Include crypto education as part of the subject in Universities (although not part of the curriculum)
2) Coins.ph making big partnerships
3) Gcash, Maya intergrating crypto on their service soon
4) BSP seems positive now towards crypto unlike before na puro warnings (although tama naman)

At ano pa ba?

This thread is more than 1 month na and sa mga latest news ngayon is pro in crypto at binance since recently may mga meetings and happening na kasali ang Binance. Ban will be unlikely. Despite that Binance has been open to Filipino trader for years, dapat noon palang nag issue na siya ng ganito.

BSP and DTI aren't banning Binance. SEC however they just simply made an advisory, but it doesn't state that it will be banning Binance. At saka sa napakaraming overseas exchanges na available for Filipinos, bakit kaya Binance lang ni focus nya to be banned?

Maybe because ito yung mostly used by the Pinoys especially the P2P system. That Infrawatch PH guy thought that the immediate ban would happen, but it's not. The chances are none to very slim depending on the latest developments that we have in the upcoming months or years.

Pure FUD, in my opinion.

Wala na yatang magandang nangyayari sa bansa natin basta about competition to other companies na galing ibang bansa, katulad na lamang nung telco na papasok sana sa bansa natin kaso hindi natuloy kasi syempre, maaapektuhan ang PLDC at napakabagal na ISP sa bansa. Pera pera lang talaga ang usapan, pero for now since wala pang totoong balita about dyan, pwede pa rin namang gamitin yang Binance.

If the license is the issue here, sana noon pa sila nagingay with regards to this one, hopefully makipagcoordinate si Binance at sana wag nila tayo iwan because of this issue. With regards to local exchanges, dapat kase mag improve den sila sa tamang paraan.

Ano ang masasabe mo dito? Mababan or suspend ba ang Binance?
I don't think so. SEC has been allowing them to operate despite that Binance is not registered here in the country and is still in the process of trying to get their VASP license.

anyway, can someone elaborate on what SEC mean when they say that "we are tracing them through our system"?

Walang office dito sa Pinas ang Binance and hinde naman sila nagooperate locally unlike sa mga local exchanges, so technically hinde sila cover ng license na yan pero with the initiative they are willing to support local exchanges and invest with them, so they can get that license.

Cheesy
