Ready to bet again -

is this live yet Huh
Unfortunately  the developer has lost interest in the site. I am unsure if it will go live again. If it does I will report that here.

Just to follow up and report I did receive the winning bet from the other day.
I can see where this can get to be a habit, real quick! Wink

EDIT:  So is the realtime betting down temporarily?
Yes, I will check in with the developer now, but we want to fix whatever error occurred before going live again. I only want to offer a 100% fully functioning site.
And I am thinking if there were many different bets and users could create their own bets this could be more popular.  The no signup and ease of use is also key.

Sometimes if the api feed is down it doesn't load. It's working fine for me now. Just try again, but don't send btc yet.
The bids are in real time and the apis available now are surprisingly unreliable.  If anyone has a reliable api suggestion let me know.

The site has been switched to testnet for now, so do not send any btc until further notice.

Of course in the future the idea is to add more features such as more things to bet on, not just the btc price on bitstamp after 24 hours. Ultimately I would like for users to create their own binary bets. Be able to place a yes/no bet on anything they like.

The sites utilizes time locked transactions and possibly multi-sig so everything happens fairly and automatically on the blockchain.

If the site gets that far we will publish a detailed description of the processes involved.
Peace

HUKOM BITAY! ✝✝✝
What happens if everyone bets the price will go higher (or lower)?
In other words, no one counterbets?

Is the determining price 24 hrs from now?
All of that information is on the site. But if there are no bets against then the btc is all returned.
Bets usually show up within a few seconds. The site doesn't wait for confirmations to display bets.

You can click past binaries to see the binary finishing time in your own timezone.

Still not getting any idea about binary  betting. Tsk tsk.

Its good but there should be more options to bet on.

Right now there is only a 1 day option to bet on price of Bitstamp.

Should have more forex currencies.

The idea is very simple and easy to use, thanks!

Made a small bet.  Who thinks the btc price will be lower at 12pm GMT+9  tomorrow? Let's get this thing started.

How was your experience here?

Can you say the site is legit?

I see your bet, but I think it will go up, too.

Maybe for shiggles, I will bet it will go lower. Cheesy

EDIT:  I just made a bet, but don't know if it will make it before the 15 minutes remaining before the cut-off.

if i win  how much payout?
You can find that info on the help page, but maybe I need to make it more clear there?
You only win if there is someone to bet against.

Quote
How are winnings calculated?

Winners get a proportion of the losing pool equal to their proportion of their bid to the winning pool. Losing bids are not returned except when there are no opposing bids. If there are no opposing bids then bids are returned. on all winnings.

If the winning pool is 2BTC and your bid is 1BTC. Then your winnings are your bid (1BTC) plus 50% of the losing pool

So if the losing pool is 1BTC. Then your return is 1BTC + 0.5BTC (50% of 1BTC) which is 1.5BTC.
