Its the classic start small and scam big strategy he used.
We did small 20$ transaction, he went first, everything went well, I trusted him.
And then we did larger transaction and he scammed. This happened before with candystripes.

From the looks of it, you were the one who got scammed by that person. So asking his earnings to be returned to his victims is somewhat of a conflict of interest. However you are right that he should be removed from the campaign.

Next time you should use a trusted escrow if you are going to have your funds at risk.

He is right to ask marco about returning is earnings, no one would do it for him. If marco accepts or just deny the payment is up to him now

I was scammed yes, but there was also someone else who could be refunded as well. Check the trust, I believe there is one other victim with the reference linked as well.

Luckily people not using his escrow service as well.

Next time you should simply take the proper precautions to protect yourself. The .0075 BTC, or 1% of the transaction is a small price to pay compared to money you could end up loosing from various scams.
