Brawker is about acquiring a middle man while Bitbay is about eliminating the middle man.

I'm wondering what the advantage is for BitBay, with respect to Brawker that just launched a decentralized marketplace.

Brawker is small ..very small compare  to what BitBay is doing.

You can think of Bitbay as Ebay for crypto. All of that will be integrated into a wallet and I think when you want to sell something/hire someone etc you can do it via wallet. Another thing is Brawker is only for bitcoin and majority of people don't use bitcoin because transaction time is extremely slow and that explains why there aren't that many sellers on brawker.

Bter doesnt work right now ... Any ETA for the features ?

Bter.com is working fine currently. But yeah, would love to see it hit more exchanges. On top of that, you may want to start staking as soon as possible.

Damn! I completely missed this ICO. I don't have a Bter account, when the Bittrex trade will be enabled?

Takes a minute to join BTER?

David Zimbeck explains the differences between Blackcoin and Bitbay here:

http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/comments/2mgrgy/can_someone_please_update_me_on_the_bitbay/cm4alpy

Both BC and BAY are simply the next gens of crypto, it's just that they have their priorities arranged differently. I'm supporting both. I foresee a lot of older coins running against their own technological limits. More people will get burned and become jaded over the outdated crap and they'll seek out coins with a better ingetrity and utility.

Same goes for alts in general. Currently the entire market is based on trade-based speculation, this whole 'greater fool' phase will end and coins will actually start being evaluated on their actual merits.

lol bitbay it is not more than a blackcoin clone Roll Eyes

We do not deny that the source is based upon the BlackCoin core. They have done an amazing job with their programming and introduction of POS 2.0. We can only help to build and improve their technology with our own innovations. Did you know that most altcoins are now cloned from BlackCoin or other forks of their base? Our mission is to bring about a new system of Smart Contracts along with a completely decentralized marketplace. Please keep checking for more updates, including our Smart Contracts wallet, coming soon! Thanks.

*EDIT: Here is a post from David explaining the same thing: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9564820

Bastards buy high and sell low. Until i have all of the coins Grin. Lots of people only want quick profit and don't trust in it longterm. But i do.

Most people are unable to see long term in crypto. If you hold this coin for 2 months your profit will be 20x of what it can be today or tomorrow.

Thats is beacuse we have yet to see if there is any long term in crypto. Even Bitcoin cannot be called a long-term success yet. 95% of altcoins die within months, some stay around for longer but fail to attract any new investors. Basically every single altcoin has been a pump+dump more or less, except for those that die right away and skipped the pump part.

That is the reality. The "long-term" investors are usually becoming bagholders. Now, this coin might be the exception (or not), but you cannot really critizise people for selling early, most of the time they have been proven right.

Who do you think? Cheesy Owners are buying their own ICO, and then selling it, it doesn't cost any money for them, so it is pure profit. All those Big ICO are fake. Will always crash. Look at BLOCK, look at MNE....
I do not see any reason to overpersuade these people. They are waiting for the price to $ 1.  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

This is completely untrue. Several of our team members have invested into BitBay and plan on holding until hedging and beyond. We are not sure who dumped their cheap coins, but we are happy that some supporters were able to get in below ICO levels. Congratulations!

Yes those people who are buying now are lucky ones haha.

Anyway I am keeping them since I have brain and Im not going to gamble and risk anything Tongue.
