Don't forget the web wallet is right behind that. This sounds quite a big step for bitbay. I think making it web/app based is the first big step to a real market placessible to the general public.
The concern to me is the block explorers getting attacked.. how decentralised can we make the explorers or is distributed a better word?
Next step to make the core easy to build upon by others and even issuing ico tokens would be very good and not that hard to implement I should imagine.
The number of use cases for the core is so vast ... i mean 100's or 1000;s of teams could start producing useful websites and applications on top of it really. But launching ico tokens on it like eth would again tie up huge amounts of bay which would be nice.
After all these things the pegging too I mean I don't feel like I'm even joking when I say bays cap could be driven beyond anything we have seen yet if everything fell into place and went well.
Time is the biggest factor but lately we seem to be jumping along at a very good speed.
Is the bay team expanding still?
Surely there will be a lot more interest coming this way now we are climbing back up the top 100 list.

I bought this coin for 476sats. Tried to dodge a dip and sold at 620. Had to pay 710 to get in again. Expecting it to fly up close to 2000sats.
churning was the main issue bay had and still has. I am hoping this will be incentives introduced to stop this.
I agree 2000 sats should be first realistic stop then on to the real value of 10k 20k sats eventually or whatever is required to bring this to the top 10 or 20 projects on here.
I hope the whale at 1000 sats gets busted out of his 2M wall soon. I bet if that is just one or two people that will get pulled before it gets reached.

I have been holding around some tokens in Bittrex for some months now. I'm not sure what the fork means, but I read above that I should move the tokens to a desktop wallet, right? Can anyone share the link so I can download the latest version? I'm using a Mac by the way.

Yeah so we are a little over 50% nodes on the new fork... 19 days to go and we need at least another 30%.
So for those who have not downloaded the new QT or new Markets client please do.
And yes the QT appearance and version is the same as before however the newest one triggers a fork. It's been up since the first of November.
So has anyone yet tried to use the new freezing and timelock functions in advanced spending?

Well they will simply update their wallet and enjoy the new pos rate too. Another very good reason to implement a new form of pos depending on amount held with no spends at all....

Well if you want to you can move them to collect the new increased staking rewards.
However if you dont care about those then can leave on bittrex
If you have a lot of them then I would suggest collecting free bitbay rewards
Make sure you have it all backed up locally and everything though
Nothing gets attention like a price jump. I have said this enough times. This is the best form of advertising. Get the price up there and get in a high cap position.

That explains why the sudden high green status on coinmarketcap. I don't hold much of these I even forgot how much exactly I got but sure I have kept it for a long time already. It must be time to see this rise up. Its more than years that I have hold it.

The developer has been working solidly for many years... but we forgot to tell many people about it all before. Those we did tell didnt want to listen.
Soon more people will start to hear and listen and then believe.

over 8 million volume today already.
still small fry compared to what is to come but its a nice up tick today.
It was nothing short of an insult for this coin to be dumped out of the top 50- 100
It will be nothing short of vindication to get into the top 20 and those that kept churning and dumping on us will sit there daily wondering why they parted with gold for magic beans that just turned rotten the longer they held them.
I hope once we reach a reasonable cap for bay we flick the peg switch or introduce savings bonds with higher interest and dev funding to stop them ever getting another chance to get in low again.
I can't wait for the utter collapse of 90% of these over hyped dirt bag icos with nothing but a few marketeers and sock puppet accounts behind them.
I keep challenging people to show me a project that offers more than bitbay for less bucks in every " what alt should i buy thread in the main board" and nobody ever takes the challenge ... wonder why.
