I'm thinking that the perception and attitudes above will probably remain until July when open registration begins and the products start being released. It is a pity because by that stage the most profitable revenue share pools will be filled. That is not to say it would not be worth joining then, even just for the free products, just that the people already in will get more revenue share.

Why keep this one open at all, btw? Shouldn't it be handled like all the other Mavrodi-Style ponzis/pyramids that frequently pop up here?

That would be assuming it was a ponzi which if you look at the compensation plan you would see there is no way it can be.
I am surprised how fast people in here think the worst of something and jump to conclusions without getting the facts first. Maybe that comes from having a lot of bad things come through here before. Maybe BitBillions has made a mistake by using bitcoin as its primary currency. I'm pretty sure they would not have expected such opposition to a company that will bring more publicity to bitcoin.

Well, there's always this clause:

I am deleting and banning any more bitbillions related spam in the newbie subsection, which is oddly done by 1 post newbies offering 'investment' opportunities.

Hey cool, you can see transactions on there. I have been using Strongcoin, can you see incoming transactions on there anywhere?

So you really know *nothing* about bitcoin !?

Amazing...

As I stated, it is only because of this company launching that I even heard about bitcoin. So yes I don't know much about it, but learning a fair bit.

I think he should sign pirate up to his service.

Ok, is that a in forum joke or something?

2. NSW Dept of Fair Trading would not know about this as it is not a registered company here. If I was the owner maybe it would be but I am not. The whole concept behind it is that it promotes full privacy to all the members and anyone involved in the development. So I seriously doubt they would have even heard of it, nor could they do anything about it even if they did as it is not Australian based.

If it's based overseas, they'll just refer it to the ACCC.  Both the ACCC's ScamWatch and NSW Fair Trading issue warnings about scams based overseas.

It's probably not a good idea to associate the Soldiers Point address with the venture and be the one who makes all the posts on the website if you're going to try to claim that you have nothing to do with operating the Network Money Makers.

Network Money Makers is my blog site, nothing to do with BitBillions, although I have posted about bitBillions on there. So the Soldiers Point address is associated with my NMM site. Not sure what that has to do with this conversation about BitBillions though.

HOW TO SUBMIT MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

To obtain membership clearance and participate in STAGE 1 you must submit your application along with a donation. To secure your free wealth redistribution matrix position, send an email to bitbillions @gmail.com with ‘14fQw26tbsXmXct3bZoh6Gi2ozeU3teqVR‘ in the subject line. In the body of the email state ‘BLACK SNOW ZEBRA‘. Further instructions await you.

Maybe it is his address. Maybe not. Right now it already got more than 1 full BTC.

Good luck Dave !

Hey cool, you can see transactions on there. I have been using Strongcoin, can you see incoming transactions on there anywhere? I might have to change to blockchain if not.

Actually looking harder I'm trying to work this out a bit. The number is the member number I sent a bitcoin to BitBillions, which is one of the transactions on there. I can also see what looks like commission payments but they are to other people...What number is normally used in this? A public key? Think I'll put mine in, it might make more sense to me.
Tried it...much better, makes more sense to me now.

GBBG (aka BitBillions) is an official non-corporation.

What the fuck does that even mean?

I think we should help David along with his ventures and get him some mainstream publicity on Today Tonight or A Current Affair.

Oh, and as David is located on the Central Coast of NSW, I've helpfully contacted the NSW Department Of Fair Trading seeking their assurance that this is not a pyramid scheme.

1. I'm not from the Central Coast, close though, I'm above Newcastle.

Uh huh.  Please tell me more about this pyramid scheme business named after bitcoin (yes it is, Dave.  Yes it is.)  which apparently does nothing but give out memberships for said business.  I mean really, if you're going to offer a service, the first thing you should mention is the service.  But you really can't, because there aren't going to be any services.  Smiley  It's just a club.  Posh.  But useless all the same.

Says it all.  There's Dave way up top.

What you fail to mention about that matrix is that it only pays people 7% matrix commissions based on their earnings from the revenue share. The matrix does not pay any commissions based on membership or donations at all. So if the company does not generate any revenue there would be no matrix commissions.

As for mentioning the service, well it does. There is not going to be just one though. I did mention them above but maybe you missed it
Our premium services will include advertising, payment processing and currency exchange just to name a few.

Here is something you will not see on the site because it was sent by email to those who had applied

Hello. You recently requested information to obtain a founder membership in GBBG. We wanted to inform you of a major change to our donation process. We have learned many people want a faster process to join GBBG because obtaining bitcoins can take some time. Therefore, we are pleased to announce the following improvements!

Quote
In order to complete the development of our technology, and to provide the basic hardware and technical infrastructure for the initial release of the product, we are only accepting the initial 50,000 Founders Membership applications that include a donation. Donations will be used to reward developers, pay for technical services that are necessary, and pay for hardware that is necessary. Once development and launch of the core product are complete, any remaining donations will be treated as follows: a) a portion will be held on reserve to cover technical needs, b) a portion will be given back to members through our normal points distribution system, c) a portion will be donated to charity.

Hi all,

Dave from Australia here. Only heard about bitcoins about a week ago. Now interested in getting to know more and I'm also involved in a new business that only uses bitcoins. Have found people starting it are new to bitcoins so really need some people that are more familiar to help them. Some good opportunities to sell coins and make more as well. I wont post any more about it now but hopefully will later when I have some more rights

Wow, and someone told me the people using bitcoins were smarter than the average bear...

Hey everyone is entitled to their opinion so I'll not hold it against you that you think the worst when seeing something new. I know enough about this and people involved to know it is not a pyramid (in your definition), nor will it ever be. Keep an eye on this as it will be something that is good for bitcoin.

How exactly would one be able to have billions of bitcoins?

Nowhere does it say you would? It's just a name, it isn't called bitcoin billions.

Keep an eye on it guys for over the next few months you might regret the thoughts you currently have on it.

Yeah, good way of avoiding the affiliate link spam ban I pointed out to you when you spammed the newbie subforum with that. I am convinced this is a pyramid scheme, and anyone silly enough to participate and cry later will be mercilessly jeered at. A simple browse through the site exuded more Nigerian princes then my spam filled inbox does.
