Our man is back online here on the forums Smiley Hopefully good news ahead!

Yea hopefully he says whether the site will ever be back or not so I don't have to worry about it anymore. If it's gone for good at least I will know I don't have to worry or have hope of it coming back.

Send me some BTC! I will gladly inform you they arent coming back, and in good time too Smiley

I'm pretty sure we're good.

What kind of attacks?

DDoS or another supposed "Transaction Malleability" attack?

This is not good.
Were it my site, I'd be on here every half hour with a progress report.

I'm assuming it's an attack of some kind.  But, I don't see what the problem is of posting more updates about what's going on.  It would take 5 minutes.

at least a statement from the forum account would be nice (something along the lines
that the customer funds are safe)

but they don't care about customers yes because of this no statement no updates and soccer matches going to start

They need to update us what's going on? Looking worse and worse for them being offline and site offline.

I haven't seen anything from Bitbook to indicate they would run away with the coins.  They don't strike me as shady as Gox was Smiley  There are reputable books that go down all the time (nonBTC books).

Jesssus, again?

Time for a new host. That Panamanian one doesn't get the job done.

Also, I don't think he's run off with the money. I followed some of the BTC through BlockChain once and I don't think they're hurting for a scam.  They've made plenty off our losses and it would be MUCH more profitable In the long run to stay in business.

I think it's truly just a case of a bad host, unfortunately.  At least me and my 4.2 BTC hope so Wink

Hey bitbook.biz, hope you get your site up fast enough, so i dont have to look for alternatives, i like your site, and dont want to go through the hassle to find a new sportsbook.

And to the other people: Dont use money for gambling which you cant afford to lose.
well people shouldn't have to worry about winning a bet and a site leaving.  If they don't get site back up its a scam. Don't defend them with your stupid don't gamble what you can't afford to lose shit.

I think you guys need to calm down and quit saying scam every time something small happens. All it does is cause FUD and thats not what we need in the bitcoin world these days with everything going on. I trust Bitbook, sure we all get frustrated about the occasional slow grade or whatnot, but labeling scam already is a bit overkill. People are just looking for a witch hunt these days, and you wouldn't go publicly accuse someone of rape or murder unless you are 100% positive. In the real world a false accusation like that would ruin someones life, and in this world a SCAM label will ruin someones business. Please just be patient and have faith in Bitbook, I have left a running total of 5-15 BTC on my account for over 3 months on this site, and tho I know its not the smartest idea to leave BTC anywhere, it just goes to show the amount of trust I have in this service.
