I don't think everyone is gonna analyze too much for the prediction contest, they are just thinking maybe of a different spread price with around 500$-1,000$. Take it easy for the prediction contest.

Even you put a lot effort for analysis not gonna to make you have high chance of winning.

At least we need analysis to be able to approach the bitcoin price prediction at the end of the contest on October 28, if you rely on luck in the sense of a random number chosen, even though sometimes it becomes your luck, but for me it is necessary to analyze it.

Maybe it's possible to make this game less dependent on pure luck and more reflective of one's abilities to predict the price by making the following change to the rules:

A = opening price listed at Bitstamp on November 28 @ 10:00 GMT

B = opening price listed at Bitstamp on November 29 @ 10:00 GMT

W = (A + B) ÷ 2

The winners are those closest to W in their predictions.

It will still be dependent on luck, but a little bit less, in my opinion.

There's a separate same contest like this on the Bitcasino promotion page. You can have multiple bets there if you will keep wagering the required wager amount per vote. Your deposit suggestion and extra prediction is already answered by the Bitcasino website contest if a user here the forum wants an extra reward and prediction by just playing more in the casino itself.

The exclusive bitcointalk prediction thread is design to all forum members here. There's no need to change the number of prediction per rank if Karl wants to spice the competition. Maybe an extra unique contest on the result will be more appropriate than changing the number of prediction per user rank.

There are some suggestions that might be considered, it doesn't matter if you don't like it Karl

-Extra prizes for users who deposit at least 1 time during the contest period
-1 prediction for Newbie - Member , 2 predictions for Full member - SR members, 3 predictions for Hero - Legendary

If approved 2 suggestions these can be combined.

That is a good news. I will definitely take part again. 

I can’t wait to see what will change. Hopefully, the rules will not be made more difficult so that many people can continue to participate. When a lot of people take part, it's all the more exciting, in my opinion. 

Yeah I know you are bitcoin maxi guy and have been old holder who sold some stash back in the days and have made good profit out of it but they are happy for your win and expressing their feelings about how could you be lucky in both the prediction man 

It's kind of lucky say when you make predictions because price could be any bracket with some new orders hitting the market before results are out but you need to closely have a look and then make your prediction and then wait for it if you are lucky.The team is organising these events at regular intervals and appreciate @Karl for his efforts on this one and engaging with the community so this makes team better.

The word unfair is not necessary because participants have the freedom to put there predictions at given time. Some users just rushing things to vote while other is taking there time to vote just to have a better view for the price prediction.

You have a point that making the time of prediction far to the result day will give a more luck based results because it will be very hard to TA the price of Bitcoin for two weeks period compared to the current rules which only 1 week time span.

Maybe allow only to post prediction on the first 2 weeks of the month. 1st week first prediction then 2nd week for the final prediction so that it will not be unfair for those who predict earlier and the result will be more exciting and luck based rather than the current result since the price usually sideways already during the last week of the month.

Both of you deserve some good recognition since first you are helping up the community plus your skills upon doing technical analysis is truly amazing so for sure many of us will keep looking up to your upcoming predictions. Since for now you are the meta since winning two times in a row is quite outstanding.

If you win three times in a row then this will be the highlight of the contest again and for sure more people will get challenge and try more harder to enhance their analysis for next round.

Some people are just extremely lucky, resulting for them to win a couple of times in the same contest or even on any other contest but as @LFC_Bitcoin said his been doing price prediction since 2014 so he definitely build a solid experience over the 8 year course. Price predicting can include technical analysis and as well as fundamental analysis so incorporating these two things can increase our chances of winning, and not just by doing random guesses.

I am not sure if he will do that because doing so can only make his chance to win slimmer in the next contest unless if he decides to retire and wants to pass his skills to someone else that he trusts .
