Great time for crypto, bitcoin not only survives but develops very rapidly into a respected currency in the world, its marketcap is the sixth largest in the world and probably will continue to rise because bitcoin continues to spread. I think it will be very symbolic about the anniversary of the genesis of the block. Bitcoin’s price will be 10,000. I’m waiting for the New Year price increase. I think it’s real. Magic sometimes happens in Bitcoin. Satoshi is Santa Claus. Bitcoin is a New Year gift to humanity.

My expectations are that bitcoin rise up and find ways to battle its competitors. Despite the fact that bitcoin is the highest rated in terms of price, it however has some areas to improve upon. When you talk of transaction speed, bitcoin is not the fastest. When you talk about transaction charges, bitcoin's own is not the lowest. I hope that before we celebrate the 10 year anniversary, these issues are looked at and improved upon as it may help the bitcoin community a lot.

With the dull moments being experienced in 2018, I don't think an anniversary like the 10th year will be having an expected impact on the bitcoin. The bitcoin has come a long way over the years to be just easily manipulated by an anniversary. However said, I only expect a smooth sail in the price coordinations.

As we all know, Bitcoin was created in 2009 by satoshi nakamoto. Ever since, bitcoin has developed itself into a global topic. Along its journey to success just like other currencies/investments, bitcoin has experience its up and down reaching a ATH of almost $21k making it one of the best ROI of all time. So far we can say the journey has been successful but we all know we're not there yet.

i think most people, including me, are looking forward to adoption of lightning network. it is already in use and there are some small businesses are using it on main net but because it is not yet completely ready (from what i understand) no big businesses have yet adopted it. so i am looking forward to that kind of adoption.
Same here. I learnt about the lightning network technology several months ago and I was fascinated at how it could change the outlook of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market on the whole which is why I am truly excited.
Recently, a person actually ordered a coke through a vending machine thanks to the low volatility of Bitcoin and the integration of the lightning network which is truly amazing and I am envisioning a future where I do this on a regular basis without depending on FIAT anymore.
2019 could basically be 2017(Awesome) or 2018(Horrible) for cryptocurrencies, but I am betting on the former for no specific reason. Lets see what happens.

Well one thing I have discovered in Bitcoin (cryptocurrency as whole) is that anything is possible. Bitcoin can just decide to surprise us and moon beyond control due to new investors (institutionalize and private investors) buying into the idea, positive news causing them to FOMO but as an investor I prefer a steady growth instead of a pump and dump situation which traders hope for). and maybe I hope someone will make a challenge with the 10btc prize maybe it will be exciting
