Please give feedback on my progress by looking at the recent book interior link in the previous post.  I am determined to write a Bitcoin history book that will be a great resource for the community, especially newbies who have recently discovered cryptocurrency.

I am still seeking sponsors for the book.  Please contact me if interested.
You would have split the book into different parts, because when a book contains too many chapters, it would make some people to be scared to read. A book with concise information makes people to read always. So as I was saying, you would have making the book in different parts. Look at the chapters you mean 2012. That is a voluminous book to read and most of them will be afraid to read such a book. And some of them can only read if they are compelled by their lecturers.

Each chapter focuses on a particular year. A reader can choose, for example, to read about 2020 and then move to another year.

I'm still committed to complete 'The Bitcoin History Book 2008-2024' for next year.  Here is a link showing the current state of the typed up pages.  In total, there will be 14 or 15 chapters (each with 16 A4 pages):

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1myHxEy5UuVN2Ksj8r2KsdiYqUtgv-0yA/view?usp=drive_link

Also, please retweet & like:

https://twitter.com/CryptoBooksAlt/status/1695420090269712660

Please read and send feedback.  Also, please sponsor or donate to the project so I receive sufficient time and resources to complete it.

I tried to view it through the Google link you dropped, but it seems like you have made the file private, and I need some access permission before I can view it. If you want the public to access it, you can create a view only link where we can view it but can't edit it.

Opps sorry. Does it work now?

Why does it say 'suspected spammer'?
Because all you do is spam the forum with information about your upcoming book. People don't like it and have started reporting you. The admins have noticed it and began proceedings to have you banned. It usually takes 2-3 days before everyone gets on board. That's why you are seeing that notification. It's either that or theymos played an April Fools joke on all of us.  Wink

Damn I read the entire thread deeply and I was so into this book going image by image and seeing how the OP is building it so far. First of all very impressive but when I saw this message and I was little frighten in blink of an eye. Lolz. I really thought the whole book and the op is spammer and then you got me with your tiny text man. My entire April rolled over in front of my eyes. Haha. Theymos did well considering it’s stillborn joke at this point too.

@OP, I gotta say that’s an amazing book you are writing. The dedication you are putting into it is something many fail at. Congratulations for your book and hope to see you releasing it soon. Smiley

I have gone through some pages of your book and I agree with others who mentioned that the book's formatting is not good. I noticed that some of the initial pages are blank and have page numbers 6-7 written on them. Whether this was intentionally done by OP or is because of formatting issues but it looks unprofessional.

Keeping the issues aside I must say that the book appears to be very informative. And it's visible that OP has put a lot of effort in it. I highly appreciate your hard work in creating such a valuable piece of Bitcoin history. I will definitely read the book.

Thank you for your feedback

How exactly will the sponsorship be displayed on the book or other online media eg. Amazon, if you don't mind me asking?

Hi, there .... Tyke!

I have read almost all the books on Bitcoin that I could get my hands on, so I am looking forward to buy your book. I hope you can clearly describe the setting of Bitcoin in the early days and how it evolved over the years, so that "newbies" can understand how difficult our environment was in the early years.

Today, you can openly brag about your Bitcoin ownership, but in the early days it was cloak and dagger secret stuff.. that almost nobody knew about.

Good luck..... and please give us regular feedback on your progress.  Wink

Thank you. Yes, I’ll give regular feedback.

Uh, you really need to sort out the formatting of the document. There are a lot of blank pages, I'm not sure if that was the intention or if something was really done wrong.
for some reason pages 6 and 7 are repeated several times.

try to check from another device where you are not logged in or haven't all the plugins installed that you used to create this book.

I will investigate what you have brought to my attention. I’m aware other domains were used for the ‘Bitcoin Forum’.
Many information is available for you to take from Bitcointalk's important historic changes like the forum names, domain name, head admin role changes since 2009.

When your Bitcoin historical book is ready, you can announce it in Collectibles and can consider raffles there.

Hey Tyke, your project seems intriguing, and if executed well, a book could be a great addition to the Bitcoin community. I am unsure of your current progress, but I suggest that you consider having the book reviewed by seasoned experts in the field before its publication. This feedback will provide valuable insights and ensure that the book is accurate and informative.

As an example, while browsing through the available content, I came across page 30 where I noticed the following:
"On 17th November 2009, a public forum at www.bitcointalk.org was born
and founded by Satoshi (he was head admin until almost 2011)."

I checked the Whois info for the "bitcointalk.org" domain and it seems like it was only created in 2011. So, the info in your book about it being founded in 2009 cannot be right. From what I have heard, this forum's first version was actually hosted on the domain "bitcoin.org."

The link is still broken, please review it before posting.
It's a good effort, but you need to create a site to have dynamic tracking websites instead of static PDF pages, and modifying it will be much easier.

If anyone has feedback, please fire away!

Currently writing the first draft of a 300+ A4 page Bitcoin history paperback/hardcover book for tentative release in late 2024/early 2025.  It will be a detailed and thorough account of important Bitcoin milestones since August 2008 (when the www.bitcoin.org website was registered).

I am determined to include as much information relating to Bitcoin as possible.
