Some seemed surprised, yes. €400 to get in is a good deal? The only reason they charge that much is because the venue and all other expenses cost a few grand, and they were expecting only a few hundred people to show up.

Does anyone fancy sharing an apartment 250 euros each for 3 days? Has 2 bedrooms and 20 mins walk to the conference.
