It's really hard to tell how far the Asian markets will push Bitcoin before moving on to something new. I live in a suburb of Beijing (San Francisco). I know more Chinese people than any other group. I really hate racial profiling but I've never met a larger group of gamblers in my life than the Chinese. They seem to live for it. I think Bitcoin seems like a huge game of Pai Gow to them. They're gambling with Bitcoin right now and seem to be winning. As long as they're winning they'll probably continue doing it.
Does anyone feel like it's comming?
$50.000 in 4 years is looking too much hard but cryptocurrencies is always unpredictable there. If this could happen than I'll be millionaire and so many people will be into restful life. But I think $5.000 is more realistic.
I will buy some house in lots here in my country if the price in 2020 will hit at $50k value
We don't know what will happen in the future we are not fortune teller but it can be possible to happen since the price of bitcoin is relaying in demand and supply.

Buttcoin will be dead by 2020
buttcoin or whatever other altcoin that are poping up right now will surely die way before 2020 but BITCOIN will not die by that time for sure

I feel more like ETH or MONERO near 0 USD and bitcoin dethroning them out from most of the popular altcoin trading platforms. @ OP better to speculate $50,000/10 = around $5000 by 2020.
i dont think that we could actually hit that price because i still dont think if we can get 1000 usd per bitcoin before this year ends or next year . if we want bitcoin to grow more we must invest more more investor more bitcoin will grow its just like saving a money to get a bigger money. and thats what we're doing why we are part of this history but i will be so happy if this happen on 2020.

If we take in assumption that the whole block size debate is finished and solved , both SegWit and Lightning network are activated and the next halving block reward happens in 02 Jul 2020 (Estimated) and there will be a decrease from 12.5 to 6.25 BTC , more shops and merchants/services will accept Bitcoin then It's definitely something possible to happen .
I think that the driving force for bitcoin in the future will be on the demand side, not on the miner side anymore.
The more people come in contact with bitcoin and stay with it, the more demand is created.
In the same time, the number of newly mined bitcoins decreases. And a few coins get lost every day as well.
I think it this way: 75% of all bitcoins are already mined. And maybe 10 million people use those 75%. There are way more than 10 million people on this planet!
The way I see it the conditions for an immense growth are more than sufficient!

Unfortunately I'm not a Jedi and force is not so strong with me to feel things from a distance.Especially when it's years away.. No one could really say regarding on bitcoins price on upcoming days,weeks,months or years but as stated to the OP i dont think so it would reach that amount its too much to consider in a short period of time 4 years from now is 2020 and we observe on the price of bitcoin i could really say that its not possible to reach 50k .. maybe in 20-30 years but still not guaranteed.

No we are already near 2017 and price is at only around $800. So by 2020 it can't reach $50,000 , i think price can get upto $5000 per bitcoin. $3000 - $5000 per bitcoin can be considered as reasonable price speculation for 2020.
This seems to be unrealistic, nothing will go high as quoted. Price to reach $50,000 by 2020 is not at all possible, and if it happens it gets the attention of users as well governments. To reach such a big value in such a short period is really hard, bitcoin is young and had reached to a maximum around $1500 in 8years time, so reaching $50000 in another 4years time looks like a dream.

Unlikely, but if you are so sure then put every single cent in bitcoin and you will make a fortune similar to those in the early stages of bitcoin.
And what would cause bitcoin to go as high?
Increasing adoption rate, increasing usage, increasing remittance, increasing investments and rise of new trading platforms?

it could possibly happen. but my prediction bitcoin will not reach 50,000USD. it is a number that is difficult to achieve. the price is too great for a digital currency. 5,000USD may still be accepted by many people.
cool as it would be, i don't believe there's one single hope in hell of it reaching that level by then.
