Bitcoin price fluctuations can happen at any time but from everything you talk about there is a reason why it won't happen in the near future from a 10k drop or a 60k increase it's very difficult to take in the near future and I think it will take a long time to see the situation Real Bitcoins.

It won't matter if bitcoin goes down to 10k or $1000 as long as it's still the lowest price I have to buy it with buy dips or even by doing DCA, if we think there is still an opportunity in the future about an increase to $60k then hold on don't take it dizzy because of the decrease in fluctuations it has become common in bitcoin.

I said bitcoin will go up but not anytime soon.

Can bitcoin go down to 10k$ this year. The fluctuation of the crypto space now is dragging the coin, and I think is still going down more before it can regain it strength. So can it still go down or rise back to 60k$ this year? Let discuss

I'm sorry to burst the bubble, but no one here has the crystal ball to see the future.

All we can do is speculate that it could go down to $10k this year, but take that perfect opportunity to buy and not think of it as something very negative.

If you are talking about a recovery to $60k, well I will give you my prediction, I highly doubt that because we are still in the bear market.

~snip~

I see many reasons for what Pmalek said. Bad news can lead to bad news, so unless there's a bad news event globally(which triggers panic selling), that can only drop Bitcoin to $10k. In my opinion, expecting Bitcoin to drop to $10,000 is a thing of the past (as stated by @charles-Tim as well). If you are hoping to buy Bitcoin at $10k, I think that might not be possible. $20k is a good position to hold. In the crypto market, good news can also bring about a spike in price, but if you ask me, I don't think Bitcoin will get to $60k or fall below $10k this year.

I am not a crypto expert, so this is just my opinion and should not be considered financial advice.

It bitcoin will go down much more, I think it will just be around $10k. Then maybe next year it can go back to $60k.
Regardless if I have an technical analysis for bitcoin market, I believe it will not get as high as $60k in this year unless some significant event happen.
Above all, I think it's still one of the best time for acquiring bitcoin before it reaches it's new ATH.

Read a lot more speculative threads and replies in this section, Speculation and you'll find the more interesting technical analysis on predicting Bitcoin price.

If you ask it here if there's someone who believed that the Bitcoin price dropped 50% or more this year, it's barely to see someone agreeing with you because it's anticipated by most of us here that the Bitcoin price will grow and only time can tell when it will happen.

Believe me, if you're a long-term holder, you'll have a better reward soon.  ATH is coming...

I doubt Bitcoin would go down to $10,000 within the year. It may happen, of course, but I really doubt that. Bitcoin's price fluctuations for the past weeks and months have actually died down a lot. The price has more or less stabilized or maintained its sideward movement for the past months already. I don't think this year would end with Bitcoin falling half of its price today. But I also don't think it would rise back to $60,000. That's wishful thinking.

I think the two prices you are talking about will not be reached by Bitcoin within this year.
You can see how long has Bitcoin been at $19k-$22k. I guess until the end of this year will not change too much. the price will move, but not too much.

what we can do, all depends on your belief. but I believe most traders and investors are currently accumulating more Bitcoins in their wallets for the long term. next year or two years to come, dreaming Bitcoin will break through ATH.

With human senses and human thinking, it look impossible for Bitcoin to hit $60,000 anytime soon, Same way for the probability that it will go dip on $10,000 soon. But when crypto market Is involved it's absolutely unpredictable, Market violation is absolutely unpredictable, so there's possibility of everything, of both sequence happening. But to my own honest opinion, I don't see Bitcoin going to 10k any time soon nor 60k anytime soon

You could have come up with a more interesting title for the topic than "Bitcoin"!

I don't think that in today's state of the global economy, we will see bitcoin rise up close to the $70k levels in this year. In the future, and especially closer to and after the next halving, why not!?

I also don't believe a new 50% drop to $10k is to be expected unless something drastically changes and the world governments start turning against Bitcoin. With that I mean, whole countries prohibiting its use, trading, or the mining aspect of it. A big drop could also happen if we witness another case like with Celsius, where the platform starts liquidating big chunks of BTC in an attempt to stay afloat. Bad news attracts more bad news, which results in sell-offs.

Do not expect bitcoin to rise to $60000 anytime soon. Also do not expect its price to go down to $10000, I think bitcoin getting to $10000 is now the story of the past, guess it would only be in history. Presently people are buying more and the price increased recently, maybe it's a bull trap or not, but holding at $20000 would be good, or better to just DCA.

Of course it technically can — $10k is literally just slightly more than a 50% drop. But a better question is, will it? Only time will tell. If you were to ask my non-trader opinion though, it's pretty much a coin flip.
