I think it is probably going to happen at the next halving and since that is going to happen in the 2020 then I think that is a good prediction, however is not going to be an overnight thing it is going to take some time similar to what happened with the previous halving.

Glad to see you are very optimistic for that, I personally still not sure bitcoin price will reach that value. but I'm a bit disappointed the bitcoin prices are now falling hard. I do not know what happened wit bitcoin and i still wondering if at the end of the year bitcoin will hit at $5000? I do not know but I want to see what will happen to bitcoin in the future.Hope dies last, but can be very nasty. Good that some think that price will be around 10k, after this recovery we will go above 5k this year end maybe 6 if we got lucky.
We had several bad news that influence price change now when recovery is in order think we will see little longer time to reach 5k or more.

Bitcoin is finally starting to recover, it is the same old story, some bad news spread and then the whales use their power to crash the markets, then there is panic, the weak hands sell and the whales take the opportunity to buy bitcoin for cheap and then the price goes eventually back to normal.
The question is - what is normal "price" is there anything we can call normal? What normal price is measured? Many speculators, economist, bubble researchers said that bitcoin is nothing more than a brief craze and temporary bubble.
Bitcoin fever can last for a decade or so and then people will ditch it because they will be disappointed with lack of progress of adoption,
terrible user experience or lack real usage outside "hold forever and hope for the best" scenario.

Anyway think that all is over and that we will see finally again breaking some new borders in price. For start just to recover over 4000 and from there its easy.

Price going down is cuz bad news from China and banning ICO and possible bitcoin. This is major factor for this price drop and hope that this will finally be over and for price to stabilize. This price down dont suits no one so Im expecting to see recovery in next few weeks.

Just by next year we might see it. There are too much demand and that thing is overpowering bitcoin, bitcoin became the center of all cryptocurrencies and anyone who is related into trading knows bitcoin and they focus their eyes in it, so each time the price goes down demand will rise after, and will end up having the value higher, its on an unlimited cycle now and even problems can't stop it.
Going to such value would create attention by the Government and they would then implement stricter regulations. So, the road to $10k would be a bumpy one
Possible that government wlll have some influences but not directly, like China who banned ICO investment for good, they had enough law suits from ICOs. Second that might be for this is that major US bank JP Morgan made with article in The Guarding, where they called bitcoin a fraud.
Many indirectly effect can influence in bitcoin price, so for now think that price is going down to 3500 maybe.

We are very near to it, if it is not going to happen this then next year or maybe 2019 we've got some assurance with it. The news are good and everyone seems to get attached with bitcoin now. Other says that we are in a bubble but it's just their wish. Do you remember that we've got McAfee on our back so trust his words. 
No we are not close. We are close to reach 50% of that goal. No reason to get too excited. And expect some bigger pullbacks and bear weeks before we finally will scratch the 10k. And then we may see some massive profit taking due to this being a very important psychological round number.
Everytime the majority in this space thinks it will be easy-peasy, the market will do the complete opposite and wipeout the weak hands first and then test if the others who hold strong have enough patience until the next run up happens!! Always remember that and expect the unexpected to happen!!
It may not still be reaching 50% but look on how the price of bitcoin moved this year. Earlier on January the price was at $1,000 and now we hit $4,000. Look on how big is the percentage of that increase since the beginning of this year and up to now. For just few months we've seen on how fast bitcoin's price increased.

Whether it goes higher or not, but we are definitely not going down below $4000 which beartrolls were barking all the time, and that's making every Bull feel proud considering the current situation.
