What about mellow ads? It looks good for your site. But if you're a new site and don't try to use the google Adsense. Because you'll be having a high risk to be banned by the Google Adsense itself.
My suggestion just tries to use melowads and other was similar into it.

No, its not mandatory to have aged and popular blog to get Adsense approval. All one need is rich quality and originality. My blog got approved within 3-4 weeks of start and getting 100-150 visits daily.
For mellow ads, they raised requirement to 200k Alexa rank. So in terms of traffic Mellowads approval is more difficult than Adsense.
And how do you know which program is much safer? Can some people using these applications deceive other users? I still do not meet with such opportunities, so I'm interested.

Are you suspecting service running by Google? Adsense has already crossed 10 years of service and paying the highest rates in ad industry. You need not worry about safety, all reputed Ad networks are safe.

I wouldn't recommend you to use google adsense as tbey don't support a bitcoin blog as far as i remember.
I have used mellow ads before and they have pretty good rates but you need minimum of 100000 alexa rank. You can even add a-ads until you reach 100k alexa as they have no rules. Or you can list an advertise here section on your site.

I think about adsense you are making confusion with faucets sites wich in this case yes adsense is not suppoting this type of websites, but as the op was talking about a pure blog it is different and  i am pretty sure there is no problem using adsense, as exemple you can visit themerkle.com and you will see adsense ads there.
As mentionned by others Coinad, Mellowads and A-ads, are some ad networks using bitcoin only. I have been using a-ads for maybe about 2 years now and i am with it
AdSense only supports websites that are only have been out there for a while and have a continuant growing number of viewers overall, besides they only support PayPal as a payment method not bitcoin, if you really want to earn bitcoin from ads on your websites you can use a website called a ads which has no requirements they give you a code for the ads and you place them on your website and earn bitcoin as easy as that no viewers requirement or none of that sense, however you need to work on trafficking it so you earn more.

Not really, it doesn't matter since how many time you site is online ect. There are some niches which are simple not allowed in adsense, no matter since how many time your site is up, or the numbers of visitors you have ect.... And they don't use Paypal either, they pay by cheques

Thatnks for all of your suggestions and I think I'll check out coinad and a-ads at first, mellowads looks like it would work better if the blog has many visits, so I'll keep that for when/if blog kicks off.

Btw a side question, maybe someone knows, can I get affiliated with them if I'm using the URL as example.wordpress.com, because as much as I know, for google adsense you can't register that kind of format.

I don't think. Most, if not all, ad networks require to have  tld domain (.com .net, ect) to be able to participate to their program as a publisher. Don't be afraid to buy your domain, you can get a domain as cheap as 1$. You can take the opportunity of the godaddy offer, they offer 1 domain for the cost of 1$ per personn, this is of course a one time offer. Google "godaddy 1$ domain name" you will find it easily. 1$ is cheap, and as you are going to monetize your blog, you can recover this cost fast. On top of that wordpress doesn't allow to use ad network, so you are risking your blog then. If you don't want spend any money for hosting your blog, then buy a domain name and use it with blogger.com Smiley

I suggest you a-ads and coinmedia if you have new sites. But if your site have great Alexa rank and daily views than you can apply for cointraffic, coinzilla, and mellowads(mellowads is my favourite one).
If you have only blog then you can apply for AdSense but if you have blog + faucet then you will get BAN from them.

Go with mellowads, it's one of the trusted and I've seen a lot of people who are using it as their adsense. If I'm not mistaken they don't have fees so if ever you've got a lot of traffic then the whole amount you will earn is totally yours and there's no deduction on it.

Wasn't quite sure where to post this so I figured here would be fine.

So, I'm starting a blog and if it goes well, I'll be adding ads to earn some btc from ad revenue, so my question is what's the best ad program that pays out in bitcoin? or are most of them just not worth it and should I go with google adsense or something similar?

If you are planning on creating a site that will give you profit from the traffic of from the views and visit of people coming into your site is quite hard thing to do. Even if you use google adsense you will need a marketing and promotion so that many will visit and patronize your site and if you dont do that you will not earn that much. Trust me my friends have done that before and it was hard to maintain views and gain profit from advertisement only.

I think a lot of adsense of bitcoin is legit, but I think better use google adsense, because I think that the price of bitcoin is not always fixed, while google adsense to pay with real money has a fixed value.

Payments of real money is a good idea to have and comparing it with bitcoin unstable price is really different, because real cash money is a fiat currency and btc is digital. Adsense payment of real money is better if you will spend that immediately but if you are investing it with other options for digital currency, you will have to buy btc and hold for next price increase. I think there were ads that paid btc and that will be a good earnings to have, so that many will benefit in the future.

Yes, but when we talk about how the formula MCM (capital into commodities and back again into capital), when the beginning we build a website using USD more favorable I think google adsense, but if you create your website with the use of bitcoin, then ads from bitcoin is also good. This is just my suggestion.

it depends on how your blog is. for example if it is one of those free blogs such as blogger or wordpress you can't do it without their ad system (paying with fiat) and almost all the ad networks reject you (i say almost because a-ads accepts them).
but if it is a separate domain and hosting that you have bough then it is different. you can use all of them as long as your traffic is good enough.

here is a list of them: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-bitcoin-advertising-networks-1108616

p.s. you should have posted this in services discussion board

This service might help: https://mellowads.com/
I have not joined any program, but I see that many blogs use this network.
Another choice is: https://a-ads.com
It is popular as well, you can watch in the first page some statistics about  this service.

Coinad is one of the leading advertisement networks that pay in Bitcoin as far as I know (not affiliated in any way).
I'm not sure how the rates compare to AdSense, but from what I've seen they're the highest among other such networks.

Try that out and if profits don't work well for you switch to AdSense.
You could also sell ad spots on your website directly, it could be more profitable or not at all, it heavily depends on the content. Though I think it's more suitable for forums.
