It's not just a solution for solving problems in Africa but that is applicable to all countries in the world. But when it comes to corruption that's the only thing that I'm thinking that those corrupt officials will have to use the advantage of using bitcoins anonymity for their shady acts inside their offices.
And that's might be the reason why some other country don't accept bitcoin, because they don't want that to be happen on which bitcoin can be a tools for money laundering, so no wonder why bitcoin also has being banned before in other nation.

I think bitcoin is ideal for developing countries. It offers alternative forms of payment at much lower costs and for any amount. Micro loans are rapidly growing across the African continent, helping small businesses get up and running. I think bitcoin is a tool that can be utilized to make these businesses keep their costs down. If adopted and used properly, it can certainly propel many countries forward.

I never thought that Bitcoin would be possible in a country like Africa and good thing that they have strong trade relationship with China. With the use of Bitcoin to trade in Asia is very much beneficial to the country. Smiley

if bitcoin there can dominate the economy and destroy their dirty governement, they might solve their economy ccrysis,

but if you think about it, it's not different than other country giving them help economically, bitcoin is that you are burrowing money from other with it

the other pump for you and you becoem rich, the same will apply for poor country

That is a very positive outlook and I definitely agree with you. Over they years, Bitcoin have made huge developments every year and things like those would be very possible. Smiley

Although internet penetration in Africa is still low compared to the other continents Internet is a major tool required to solve unemployment problems in Africa it can leads to creation of online jobs by selling skills and payments are made via Bitcoins, in my country (nigeria) we have currencies exchangers that converts earned Bitcoins to our currency.

The issue is that there isn't reliable internet coverage in many regions in Africa, so internet use has to increase for Bitcoin to become more widespread.
Many Africans are living overseas. Bitcoin is a very convenient way for them to send money back home. It could also be of use for reducing corruption. I've read somewhere that the people who do use Bitcoin in Africa mainly use it for paying bills, and for online purchases, but the biggest use seems to be by investors putting their money into Bitcoin.

From a standpoint is is quite normal that in Africa things aren't going as smooth and as fast as in other more develope continents but that's not to say that BTC growth should be limited to only developing countries.Africa has the potential to improve and there are places there with Internet connection but we can only hope that the number of those places increase, otherwise we may lose quite a lot of people who could have otherwise been introduced to BTC

I agree! What if Bitcoin would be the kickstart for the advancement of internet and technology in Africa. If other countries make it, why not Africa? Smiley

This is such a great progress for this kind of country because they can now use even more secured currency and it can be the one who can help for them to be successful because bitcoin can't be controlled by the government so it means that there is no corruption possible for this step up. I hope other countries will accept bitcoin too like in my country so it can adopt this beautiful technology creation Roll Eyes.

If bitcoins will be adopted in almost all countries there will be many advantages that it will bring such as financial market evolution and many more. Paying bills will be much more faster and we dont need to leave our homes. Paying tuition, paying restaurants, paying groceries and many more will be very convenient as robber cannot easily rob us of our bitcoins.

yes,it would be very helpful for africa as well as other backward countries where their currencies loose their values and the nation facing severe economic crisis and people suffering jobless.I heard bitwala has started a scheme mpaisa of sending money to african countries.
African countries have economic undeveloped situation. One of the worst case took place in Zimbabwe, where currencies value went much low. Governments too doesn't make necessary plans to make the economy get stability. At that instance people got aware of bitcoin and other digital currency and started using it. Few experts too suggested digital currencies were the one to growth in economy of African countries on adoption.

A good governance can make a country a better place. They need a good leader who is dedicated to help his citizens and to overcome the problems they are facing... Bitcoin is not the only solutions to all common problems they are suffering. Bitcoin is only useful in some ways, so they should not be dependent on it.

Bitcoin has high value against ZAR ( African currency ) so if African people able to mine or earn bitcoin, it become great advantage because it will help African's economy. Let say if they build online shop or other public service that accept bitcoin , I'm sure that the transaction will be active since the demand will increase overtime

Also, transaction fees for online shopping will also be less and and B2B transactions outside the country, especially with China, will be cheaper when it comes to sending payments.Smiley

Yes, the transaction fees for shopping will be a whole lot less but without any access or information on how to purchase Bitcoin then part of the payment system will be obsolete to a group of people. The systems that are all set up on Mobile phones is how the payment niche is getting popular because mobile phone payments are easy to use and mobile phones are really cheap to get within those locations.
Bitcoin will get popular when a merchant decides that they could spread their Bitcoin purchasing business within places like Africa and Malaysia.

The only problem is that the transactions would take a lot of time to be finished if a whole country starts using Bitcoin. However, when this issue be solved there won't be negative points about a Bitcoin adoption in african countries, at least I can't imagine any negative point right now. It would increase the wealthy in the hands of that people. Currency rising its price, exactly the oppost of what happens now.

i think it is probably one of the solution but I think the best solution is their government needs to take care of its country, other country such as america, asia needs to put some investment in africa to create a job for the people. People needs to help their self first. the progress of every country depends on its coutrymen.

if it does work in Africa, of course it will be successful in other countries. but it all depends on the government, because if the government does not provide direction in the use bitcoin, then, bitcoin may only be used for illegal purposes.

I'm fascinated by the mass adoption of Bitcoin in Africa especially in the west as it seems to be the panacea for their current fight for economic freedom and the stabilization. I'm impressed that Nigeria being the most populous country in Africa is spearheading this Bitcoin usage.
