Here in Brazil I would say cryptos are still so so.. in one hand we have the government planning to legalize it (and even charging people for transactions of over R$ 30.000/month - about 8k USD) and we also have a nice number of exchanges but in the other hand we have a lot of pyramid schemes that are scamming people constantly (not to mention the money laundering that have been a strong focus inside the media's) and it, sadly, gives a bad reputation to the whole cryptos things as many people still tend to think that everything is the same..

As for my country there is no government restriction on the use of Bitcoin and any other cryptocurrencies. I believe Cryptocurrency due to its P2P  Decentralized nature will be hard to stop irrespective of any nations jurisdiction . Cryptocurrency generally is unstoppable . Country like india is planning to  place ban on Cryptocurrency which is not good enough for their national development . Privacy coin like Monero, Zcash and Veil will thrive in future. No government can ever ban these class of cryptocurrencies . They are complete privacy coin with the best anonymity , they cant be tracked. These coin will have better future because i observe the Government and Banks doesnt like cryptocurrency .

I'm happy where I am at, our government is very open and we have 2 or 3 Bitcoin ATM here in our country and we have a big exchange where we can trade our coins through our local and we can also pay bills and load our cellphone through this exchange, makes adoption easy in this part of the globe.

So far there has been no rejection or conflict in the development of cryptocurrency, even in my country there are several digital currency exchanger companies that stand up and seem to get a business license, there are no signs of problems and even the banned that occur and there is also no burdensome regulation from the government.

I guess Venezuela counts as mine so far.

Here they are too busy like with every "authoritatian" regime trying to make their own coin succeed. They blocked via DNS filtering some social networks sites(They are planning to block all in the future) and practically all sites that can get you Bitcoin.

However, the hidden fact is that some people involved with the dictatorship is buying a lot of mining equipment and making huge farms with the money that is from the resources of the state to profit out of it for their own pockets.

Otherwise you can use it relaxed and escape the huge inflationary rate that is inside here if you're careful enough. Can also perform some actions for Bitcoin and make more money than a lot of regular jobs inside here for now. Some, especially requiring a college can pay more but it's normally between $200-$500 anyways. I know, crazy.

There is no Bitcoin adoption in our country. Because Cryptocurrency is illegal now in our country! Though the government didn't ban crypto like India but dealing cryptocurrency in a public place is prohibited! After so much restriction, lots of people still using cryptocurrency by using VPN or proxy sites! Even many people leave the country only to use cryptocurrency safely! I wish one day our government will accept cryptocurrency and people will use it openly!

I always symphatize with people who understand the value of bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency market and yet they find the government to be not open to this innovation as politicians are afraid that they gonna lose the financial control they held since time immemorial (a wrong mindset, to say the least). In your case, there is no official ban but development on the cryptocurrency adoption is almost on the halt as people could not easily move their coins into real cash...not unless one will go outside of the county maybe. In other words, the difficulties involved can make anybody into bitcoin slowly discouraged. Now, I am suggesting that those with bitcoin or cryptocurrency find ways to have their voices be heard by the government as I am sure there will be some leaders open to this new technology.

This is for members outside of the United States of America since things going in that country are all on the news but for those countries who are usually outside the radar of the mainstream media, I would like to get updates which can be good and bad, favorable and unfavorable with bitcoin. Here in my country, we have no problem with the government as regulatory bodies are not hindering the growth of cryptocurrency and in fact we have many more exchanges already approved and they can start doing business in 2020. Reading the news in other countries, I am feeling lucky to be a resident here.

What about in your own native land...how's bitcoin adoption been going on? Is there a bright future in there or maybe is it facing a gloomy and cloudy prospect? Let's talk...

In the first place you didn't name the country in which you are referring to or that you claimed is your country for some of us to access your submission. Here in my country Nigeria adoption of crypto currency is still low and we hope that more people will get to know about the advantages of crypto currency over fait current. We don't pay tax for any form of crypto currency transaction and if not until you tell someone what you do to earn extra income they will not know let alone the government be aware to start chasing you for tax. So, at the moment, doing crypto currency business here is encouraging because you will make huge some of money without paying tax.

There are a few cafes and restaurants in my country that accepts Bitcoin and unfortunately those cafes and restaurants are located in the metropolis. Awareness of Bitcoin in our country is very low. You'll be surprised that maybe 2 to 3 out of 10 knows what Bitcoin is and even if they know Bitcoin exist, they are not interested because it is more used in scams.

You're lucky to have few cafes accepting bitcoins in your country. In my country, you will not find a single shop or market which will accept bitcoin. I think 1 out of 1000 people uses bitcoin in my country or maybe even less.
But this may be worse than what you think, and it is not lucky. With the perception that Bitcoin only used in scams. This will negatively impact the thinking of people in this country. It will limit the reliability and growth rate of Bitcoin in this area, so it is necessary to change people's perceptions of Bitcoin.

in my country, bitcoin already has regulations, and the regulation does not allow bitcoin to be used as a payment instrument in financial transactions, but is allowed to be saved as an investment.
Bitcoin is investment, and investment is an asset that is stored for the long term or short term, where the value increases. In my opinion, bitcoin investment is equal to property investment or gold because in the future the value increases. What distinguishes bitcoin investment is that there is no physical because it is stored in a digital wallet.
In my country the government is very flexible which does not prohibit but allows investment, provided it is not for payment of transactions.

It is great either way.

I mean that is much better than Bitcoin being banned right? I think it is better to hold onto it until it makes a great change and just sells it after that. As far as I know, that kind of regulations do not affect your transactions outside your country, that just works at your country. In our country, the adoption is not that good but the regulation is great.

So far, bitcoin is not yet known by most of the people in our country and bitcoin`s adoption is too slow. Many people in our country think that bitcoin is not legit. I hope bitcoin`s value will be known to many so that they will also benefit from it, specially in my country.

So far we are moving good it's easy to change Bitcoin, Ethereum.Bitcoincash and Ripple here in our country to our local currency and we have one exchange company where we can pay our bills using these cryptocurrencies, but unfortunately,~~

Also, in my country is pretty much easy to exchange Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple here as fast as possible. Sometimes, there are physical buyers on the street, but this depends on your connections among these group of individuals in the country. Most of my time, i sell out to my good friends and they will immediately send back my cash, so, easy like ABC

Are you from United States?

I think it's hard to stop the growth of Bitcoin. The government can do anything they want but they can not stop people using it. How are they gonna trace someone who will use TOR/VPN.

I think there are 5 to 7 countries who are publicly unfortunate to get the benefit of cryptocurrency. Sooner or later they will change their mind.

Agree, soon other countries that decline cryptocurrency especially bitcoin will already adopt its uses... In our country, online wallet was designed to use for faster transactions even you are away from home... Now, even bank already accept bitcoin... Its a great innovation towards our country..

Adoption in my country is quite progressive compared to rest of the countries. We aren't much more likely to use cryptocurrency same as fiat. Maybe over the falling years we will get opportunities to use cryptocurrency same as that's been used in Philippines. I feel Philippines to be the country with increased access for usage of cryptocurrency.
