Bitcoin's publicizing is certainly a smart thought despite the fact that it is presently being presented and known through web-based social networking. They should begin doing it at this moment as we approach second quarter of 2018. It will build bitcoin's popularity
But this would be best idea, believe me. If people are seeing bitcoins on TV, and media stations then definitely the trend for bitcoins will be increasing. People always cater for the commercial things that are being aired on TV. Like just assume when you go to a grocery store and see there a product that was advertised last night, you will definitely look at it and buy. Same can happen but if they are advertised on TV.

I have no idea how would a proper Bitcoin advertisment look like. I think we shouldn't advertise Bitcoin on the TV. It's really hard to explain Bitcoin to someone who's not into technology. Advertisment usually last a couple of send which might be not enough for us. Who would pay for these ads anyway? TV air time is quite expensive. Also, someone would have to think of what would be inside the as that would convince people to buy BTC.

Do we need to Advertise Bitcoin in Television Programs Like all other products showing there Advertises. As most of the countries trying to ban Bitcoin I think it will help all of us the more people will know about Bitcoin and its merits and demerits. So may Government think twice before banning.

Yes, it will help to advertise bitcoins in TV and in newspapers. We should target people who are not using internet that much.

Let the technology speak for itself, I am not against Bitcoin advertising to whatever form though but it doesn't really need to in the first place.

Did Facebook, Instagram or any other sort of Social Media did this? they all not because the creators of this platforms believe that their technology is too great that people will tend to realize the significant usage of it, and that's the way I look Bitcoin now.

Please site your sources to what country was Bitcoin got ban because as far as my knowledge is concern all I see of this regulating and ban thing was all about ICOs and Cryptocurrency exchanges.

In my opinion, we can only rely on mainstream news for now to make bitcoin be known by the public. They can make fun of BTC all they want for now, spread the negativities, scams and fake news, and involving BTC with criminal activities, etc. but, there will be a time when all the big corporations, healthcare industry, financial system, etc. have adopted the blockchain of its features and uses, which could possibly push the price of BTC and other digital currencies upward.

I don't think that anyone would pay for advertising bitcoins as bitcoin network is not controlled by a central authority, so increase in price would not only affect the advertisers but also all other people who owns bitcoins, so here the advertiser will become selfish and not advertise bitcoins as why would you pay for someone else's food, you will only mind your own business in this case na. Advertisements are shown on the television of only those companies who own the rights of the product.

This may encourage new people to invest in crypto currencies, but I do not think it can happen at the moment, because companies like facebook, Google, Twitter, prohibit advertising, and television will do the opposite? I do not think

The founder of bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto is not found for years and no one knows who is him or her or them.So whonis going to advertise you wanna sponsor for the bitcoin because advertising on television needs huge funds so no one will do that and no reason for do this too.All we can do is advertise about bitcoin on social media itnis more effective than advertising om television.

Advertising network that uses Bitcoin and doesn't spy on its users. Advertisers pay publishers any amount of money and get a proportional share of impressions from them. Advertisers don't pay for clicks or impressions.

It is all over the internet, so who needs to advertise it on television.  Grin

Seeing how the technology runs now, it is like every person and even kids have a smartphone with an internet.
Blogs that are connected with ICO's are also using a bitcoin avatar for people to see that it is all about crypto currencies. Simple as that and bitcoin gets populated.

If so, it will help the development of bitcoin. But some countries have banned bitcoin transactions, which will make it difficult to promote bitcoin in the country, and the government will ban TV advertising on bitcoin.

This idea is really effective to gain more trust of people through electronic media. As the price of bitcoin increase with the number of people. But here is a big question that who is going to pay for it?

advertise on television is costly even for a short duration, and who will pay to advertise bitcoin on television in different countries? and how can the ads appear on TV if the country has strict regulation of bitcoin? certainly not an easy thing.
I think it's better to introduce bitcoin through educations from organizations non-profit of countries that tend to be negative with cryptocurrency.

In a sense, an advertisement for BTC on a national TV would really help spread the word about it but, there are so many things that are needed for that to happen. As mentioned by many peeps above, first and most important concern is the payment for that advertisement slot. Second, the advertisement itself should be informative and creative to cater all the important details about BTC. Third, who will manage the papers needed so that the TV company will be able to broadcast it. The list could go on.

Honestly speaking, I'm satisfied with what we have right now in terms of knowledge dissemination about BTC. We have all the information available in the internet and almost all people around the globe have access to it. We can inform others about cryptocurrency by just using the good old word-of-mouth.  Wink

hahahaha

this is a very funny idea, if we do that they will look at us like a big joke and they will not respect us, we need the news channels to chase us and spread news related to bitcoin and we can only achieve this if we have a good reputation and in order to have good reputation we have to abstain from robberies and pump and dump

But not all countries ban bitcoin, maybe we can advertise bitcoin in some countries that are legalize already. I think that's a good idea that bitcoin will advertise to the television, so that it can spread to any part of the country and people will convince to invest. If we advertise on television, its a good way to increase investors. And it will become popular.

The problem of being ourselves is going to the tv and pay advertising to promote bitcoin is that this lowers our credibility, are the news channels that should run after bitcoin and not the other way around

Wow, I guess you may be rich! Do you have any idea how much it costs you to put a Bitcoin Advertisement on TV??? It's by far more expensive than advertising on Facebook and Google. Here's what I found...

Quote
Cost of TV Advertising. For local television stations, advertisers can expect to pay anywhere from $200 to $1500 for a 30-second commercial. A 30-second spot broadcast nationally averaged around $123,000 as of 2016.

Advertising Bitcoin through television is not a good idea. You know why? Because there are some countries that didn't acknowledge Bitcoin and also banned it for purpose (like illegal activities and transactions) and I think it will make some impact to their Government if ever that they saw Bitcoin in their television.

Further questions

Does countries who banned bitcoin can see it in their television?
Ofcourse, Advertising in television are world wide and most of advertisements are in international tv channels which can be seen in any country.

So Bitcoin has no chance to be advertise?
In my opinion, Bitcoin can be advertise. But this will not be a good idea (like what I said). Except if it is advertised to tv channels of chosen countries who adopt bitcoins.

Tokens and other altcoins has a potential to be advertised in televisions worldwide in the as it was made by companies. Bitcoin is a little complicated.

If all the countries are planning and trying to ban bitcoin why will they allow any advertisements on their television ?
Bitcoin does not want such massive advertisement . It already manages to stay in the buzz all the time . I mean we all can see that bitcoin has already covered years of publicity and some enormous growth without any ad on television or on some  newspapers etc .
The only benefit of showing it into ads is that it will aware some "no at all into internet " type of people who have no idea about it .
