in my country, i am not heard any news related bitcoin and crime but i only heard about the investment programs which using bitcoin as their payment and after run several month, suddenly the programs is getting close by the government and people is regret and very sadly because they invest all of their money into that programs. actually people is already telling by many news but they don't listen and they don't search in any other place about the programs so once the programs is close, they can not do anything.
In my country since there are cases of bitcoin malware with the increasingly make bad bitcoin image in the eyes of the people.i Hope in your country is not so and hopefully the future of people's view about bitcoin getting better... 
Fortunately, my country has not had such a thing. But there are too few people know and use btc. In the future I hope everything will be different so that we can use btc more freely.

Talking about ransomware is not the case with our country but still we should be careful while dealing with digital currency as BTC is used in crimes also which ruins its image among people.So use it in wise manner

Viruses are everywhere, just use caution when downloading software. 
There are some issues I heard like a person looking for bitcoin investors promising for a high return and when you give them your money they will be gone in an instant. It's really sad how other people use bitcoin to manipulate people and do bad things the idea of bitcoin is really good but if people will use it in crime or scam the essence of having opportunity for additional income or investment become worthless.
I think most of the people use bitcoin as a investment of their money and they can get and earn more profit by using it.So we can say easily that bitcoin is a honest business for all currency people.But some bad people who use this for their evil work.Actually,That work which done by bad people is known to all as a crime.
People always used fiat for crime and will do the same with crypto
yes, I know that bitcoin is safe and when the transaction will be difficult to trace, so sometimes this bitcoin become one of the ways that bad people use to do crime. and that's one of the reasons the bitcon is not legalized in a country.

Scammers their the ones who is making the bitcoin image to the people into ruins their ruining the peoples through their blasphemy into tricking that they can get into something out of nothing. The hell with those and the hackers.
Oh well when it comes to money whether it be fiat or bitcoin or any other altcoin there will always be a crime involved. Its only upto us on how we use our coins. If one uses bitcoin for bad things, that won't account to all of us unless you imitate them and do bad as well.

Without a good case for my country, we are not allowed to use bitcoin freely, or in other words, it is prohibited. We still use bitcoin, but we can not publicize it, we have to hide the government, and it is a bad thing.

There has always been crime, people utilise emerging technology in crime in attempt to stay ahead of the local and intl law enforcement - this has always been the case, this does not mean the technology is inherently bad - similar to how a knife can be used to butter bread - or kill someone. The intention is the issue not the item or technology

is bad news if this can happen in my country, because we have gone to great lengths to get bitcoin and lost it because malware. of course i will be very sad 
its true there is a lot of money laundry and terorist fund raising. this i why we need an universal regulation that protect investor.
Dig deeper, crime within cryptocurrencies is not a new thing, victims are everywhere if you consider any p & d which is illegal in regulated stock market.
Highlighting these matters furiously doesn't change the fact that new comers are investing regardless, i suppose your malware in your case is about ransomware, where criminals are able to get away with funds untraceable. Countries currently are more skeptical with ICOs rather than Bitcoin itself

if people do not know the actual bitcoin, it must be evil. sometimes too many accuse bitcoin is a bad job, but if people know bitcoin will think twice. that bitcoin is a very positive benefit for us.
