Actually, in my personal idea It's much better to start with C family and C++ because the language is much more flexible than you think. However, Learning a new programming language is just about the syntax the structure is same and the algorithm you need to use is also the same.
Getting back into the topic, I see there are many available positions for the community managers but in the other hand, the people who usually apply for the position don't have the enough education even about this simple position. I suggest every one to do some more research and get some education before applying fore the jobs.

Learning some basics can help in technical writing, in speaking with developers, understanding articles, and might help in one of the future projects.
Regarding community managers - that's simple but often time-consuming job. Basically the person should be interested in project or cryptocurrency and other additional knowledge can be obtained easily.
