As a Crypto enthusiastic for two years, there is something that still worries me when thinking about the future of bitcoin, and is his mass adoption, I see with concern that in my circle of friends that many people have already lost interest in bitcoin since the madness of last December. For us, bitcoin is the future of transactions, but I think many people are confused and thought its value is only superficial, without seeing the great potential it carries.

Now my question is, what could we do as individuals or company to promote mass adoption? In my case I have a webshop with several methods of payment in cryptos offering bitcoin-related merchandise, I am also planning to offer free webinars to help beginners interested in taking their first steps in this world, but what do you believe can be done to continue promoting the massive adoption of bitcoin?

First of all, it's all about payment options - as you mentioned. Also, many people experience difficulties trying to figure out how it all works - starting from creating a wallet to buying crypto. In our neighbourhood, there are plenty of ATMs where you can buy bitcoins and their interface is much more user-friendly than on exchange platforms' websites.

The end of last year clearly showed what crazy about Bitcoin was turning on. If you have in mind some statistical data that only about 2 million people around the world are using Bitcoin then we really can not talk about mass adoption. We can take advantage of the many social media platforms to make this dream come true. Well bitcoin most of the time does not need promotion but still very little we can do to promote bitcoin as social media campaign about bitcoin and the advantage it is present to us, bitcoin is still there early And in the near future those who are speaking against bitcoin now will not have any reason not to accept bitcoin as having secondary currency. Now you can think of the core functionality is not easy transaction and less time consuming. Of course the price is one of the characters to praise it but not the only one. So we saw what happened to them and how they lost interest in Bitcoin. I think it is better to promote Bitcoin for the reason it was invented, stop advertising it as a commodity.

to be cured can start from yourself first by still using bitcoin, it is one way to promote bitcoin, blockchain has a great potential to continue to be developed, even though nowadays many people leave bitcoin and cryptocurrency because most of them interested in the price not with the technology

Well bitcoin most time don't need promotion but there is still little we can do to promote bitcoin such as social media campaign about bitcoin and the advantage it present to us, bitcoin is still at it early adoption and in the nearest future maney people even those that are speaking against bitcoin now will not have any reason not to adopt bitcoin as there secondary currency.
Right.Even if bitcoin is not totally adopted by the people as of today,i know it will still continue to grow as long as its users continue to promote it.Yes through our  social media campaigns about bitcoin,it will be bound for mass adoption in the future.
We do not even need bitcoin to be adopted by everyone around the world, the only thing that we need is that bitcoin is adopted by enough people so business feel the necessity to begin to accept bitcoin as a form of payment, that way we will be able to use bitcoin in almost any business around the world, that is the level of adoption that I'm expecting out of bitcoin it has not happened yet but I know it will happen.

I see many people confused on crypto specially bitcoin for this following reasons.

1. They stereotype bitcoin's meaning where its more focused on a hold-earn cycle rather than being a real currency.

2. People wanted to have earnings and not lost so after the bitcoin dump in December, they lack interest in it.

3. Lack of information also misleads them having no reliable source to inform them.

4. Lack of government support and nations ability to adopt.

Though bitcoin have gained so much attention over the past years. We cannot simply persuade everyone to engage in bitcoin. First problem we have to face is the fact that a huge population of people doesnt have access to internet. In my case my circle of friends have been intrigue about bitcoin. They said, how could a virtual currency obtain such price. It is still a big challenge to us the lucky ones to relay what is bitcoin trying to do to our financial system.

the government approves already.
by not disapproving!!

we dont need regulations.
regulations are for businesses to monitor, police and tell and limit what customers can do with their own funds.
we dont need regulations

we need consumer protections.
which are penalties for businesses who wish to steal,, run off or pretend they were hacked. that way business owners cant easily retire with people funds.

i really wish people learned the difference between regulations and consumer protections..
but here is a short lesson..

how much help did regulations ever do during the 2007-8 crises!
banks were regulated but still screwed millions of people

regulations are not a badge of trust. its a rusty sherrifs badge of authority that allows them to police normal people but allows them to be corrupt unpunished. and also get to do it because people WRONGLY think a sherrifs badge is a badge of honour

Yeah nice insight! going to use consumer protection from now on, that's a way better explanation for what we really want and need, gratz for the merit thro! haha could use some in my direction too haha  Cheesy  Roll Eyes

Massive adoption is going to happen when the circumstances are right and not before, right now people do not really see the need to use bitcoin as a currency because their fiat is doing a very good job according to them but as soon as this changes people are going to look for alternatives and bitcoin is going to be there ready to capture all that market, so the only thing that you can do is to wait.

Hands down for you! This is certainly a great way to show your support. I am hoping that ETFs will start another big crypto mania that will hopefully lead into a mass adoption.

I saw some comments from people saying they do not believe that someday bitcoin will reach $ 18000 and that's why they were selling their bitcoin with losses. Well, this is expected when someone loses a lot.

Now my question is, what could we do as individuals or company to promote mass adoption?

give lecture and show that bitcoin can be used as a means of payments, people need to stop just concentrating on bitcoin as an investment and look at bitcoin as a means of payments

In my case I have a webshop with several methods of payment in cryptos offering bitcoin-related merchandise, I am also planning to offer free webinars to help beginners interested in taking their first steps in this world, but what do you believe can be done to continue promoting the massive adoption of bitcoin?

just keep doing what you're doing, the news channels are the main actors for us to have a mass adoption and then we have the governments

Sctually everyone is happy with the system implemented by bitcoin regarding payment methods. However, the problem why they don't adopt much to use this technology is recognition from each government regarding bitcoin so they still feel worried about using bitcoin as a daily payment method.

It is only natural that bitcoin has decreased, volatile trading in prices will definitely occur, and the price decline is also the impact of bitcoin being rejected from sec and others. In fact, if reviewed from the previous year, the price of bitcoin is still stable at the price of $ 6500, this is still stable in my opinion.

indirectly big players are also waiting for retailers to use sell panic to buy on a large scale.

Last year basically people left the core function of Bitcoin while adopted it on secondary functions. Now you may think about the core function which is non other than easy and less time taking transaction. Instead of promoting it for the core purpose people started talking about it's price. Of course price is one of the character to praise it but not the only. We saw people who were not interested in blockchain technology but they were fond of earning profit through Bitcoin, which was a decision driven by greed. Therefore, we saw what happened to them and how they lost interest in Bitcoin. Till we don't adopt it for it's primary functions we will see people with a changing opinion. I think it is better to promote Bitcoin for the reason it was invented, stop promoting it like a commodity.

I don't think bitcoin was intended to be adopted en masse, some flaws must be overcome especially in terms of transaction speed, but that's something that must be solved later.
Some good ideas around, want to propose it as well; >>
here are some tips.
1. organise a local meetup of like minded bitcoiners in your area. the more that turn up the better as it shows there is a demand for wanting local stores to sell things for btc.
2. find the confident ones that can talk about the benefits of bitcoin.
3. organise or research how that store can swap its BTC back to fiat or pay staff/suppliers in BTC. this might be as simple as one of the meetup members who wants to buy btc often just buy it off the store manager hand to hand. or just learning how to sign a store up to a payment/merchant service like bitpay/coinbase.

then approach the store with the advantages, including demoing how easy it makes things

Nevertheless, bitcoin isn't relying on central authorities, but at least we need government to allows people to use bitcoin as a medium of exchange. In fact, many countries prohibit bitcoin used in buy and sell activities though, citizens can trade bitcoin but not use it in the daily transaction. But for the start, "local Bitcoin community" is a great idea, where people can gather and discuss about using bitcoin under the radar Grin, just between the enthusiast. Local store, retailers, shops in the city and then moving forward for the whole region of the country.

For mass adoption of bitcoin, we must take it upon ourselves to educate the general public about cryptos in general and how good they are. We can take take advantage of the numerous social media platforms in order to make this dream a reality. Bitcoin need more people on board.

Value and implementation in real life is something that could activate mass adoption. End of the last year clearly shows what madness about Bitcoin was turned.
The truth is that the number of Bitcoin users has increasd but that is still far away from mass adoption.
If you have in mind some statistics data that only about 2 millions people in the whole world are using Bitcoin then we can't actualy talk about mass adoption.

I see a good plan you are thinking about, a great strategy by promoting Bitcoin through online trading. I give a big round of applause for your idea. But you have to make initial capital and of course a large enough time to be able to convince your plan. I hope you will succeed and benefit many people.

This happens each time Bitcoin has a bubble. The market has a correction and value drops a lot, all the hype disappears, and the average folks lose interest. Then people start saying "Bitcoin is dead." Some recommended reading. Wink

A lot of people just buy in out of greed because the market is skyrocketing, not because they believe in the technology. That's just the nature of markets. Don't worry about it.

Now my question is, what could we do as individuals or company to promote mass adoption? Honestly, I don't even worry about it anymore. Mass adoption seems more or less inevitable to me. I'm just enjoying the ride.
