 That is true that's is surprising to see people paying for a legal porn site with bitcoin, maybe that is due to the hardness  of using the common ways of e-payment, or the disliking of some using them, so

 To your point, (now the bitcoin is the only payment method for the illegal things), taking a little look on the deep web (ex: Tor network) everything (goods, services) the illegal and the none of them are resolved using bitcoin.
The bitcoin has emerged in a time of vulnerability global, to my mind that's the only harmful side on it, that
of facilitating the illegal activities.

yea mostly likely there are scare of bitcoin because of taxes and how the irs is always putting the porn industry in a loupe when it comes to their revenues.

That is not strictly legal if you ask me. Brazzers don't accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. So what these people (Bitcoiners) do, they create premium memberships using Visa / Master payment, and later sell these accounts for Bitcoin on various dark market sites. If the Brazzers admins are alerted about this, then these accounts will be terminated or deactivated. So it is risky.

Most site didn't accept bitcoin as payment but we can buy brazzer account and after buy we can use it .

Actually those statements don't contradict, coming together loosely to push an industry forward is not a partnership. Apple, Microsoft, Google do it all the time. So why can't we do that? A partnership would be a contract to work together.

It actually does because people have to use different software to interact with altcoins, and if they are frustrated by it then they will never touch it again. Why do you think bitcoin is having trouble getting into cam model's hands? Because they were frustrated due to the lack of user experience that it was at the time. Having altcoins and no economy behind also hurts it as well. Bitcoin still gets that wrap.



Actually I read the whitepaper they posted and was very interested but when I saw that bitcoin can do what they are doing then I made my opinion known. Didn't know that was such a bad thing.

Also I have 75+ verified models, ~85% have at least cammed for 2 hours and 3 models on the site actually bring their own audience and just use our platform, so they asked not be shown on our twitter or in the BTCtalk thread. I have actually made a good profit it from it. Currently we are the largest bitcoin only cam site so we are the market leader... I am not looking for a partnership at this time so I don't know why I would offer it LOL

Also I love the competition when I started my site the only competition was one other person who really didn't care about his site and now we have some real competition. I have made my money off of bitcoin already, I should be on an island, not dealing with this but I am not ready to be bored yet. I don't need a million dollar enterprise, I am working on something that is fun and making a difference as we actually teach every model about bitcoin, best part of the job actually. I don't care if no models use my site I will work on it until I am bored and move on. I actually encourage them not to use it, if they don't think the site fits them or they can make better money other places. So I must be doing something right if they keep showing up.

GadgetNet's www.jizzmo.net website, and whether it will be able to generate traffic or not has nothing to do with the liquidity of altcoins. The www.jizzmo.net don't accept altcoins, it accept Bitcoin from our customers, therefore the liquidity of altcoins is irrelevant. (We also accept FIAT but that is also irrelevant in this context).



 

Ok well as someone that talked to models that have 100K+ followers they like bitcoin that is true, the features it can bring to the cam world will be great but they don't see the traffic. No bitcoin cam site is even bringing in the traffic they are looking for. When they have 9,000 people in their room every time they get online and making $75K+ a year and we can't even support a $25K+ salary, then they will never come. I would rather see all the digital cam sites come together more and really focus on marketing together to get models and customers.

Bitcoin is very niche and to start an alt coin without the liquidity that we have, is not going to go anywhere. Especially when smart contracts can be done easily in bitcoin then it really doesn't help, it actually confuses and frustrates models more.

I totally understand what you are trying to do, it is the same reason I started my cam site, not to make a lot of money but to show these sites/models that bitcoin can be worth more as the underlying technology.

Well, I think if someone purely ignorant in a dialogue once that's all right ... twice that's OK ... but when third time then it is reasonable to point out facts - even with the bold text. The fact is, that the GadgetNet network brings new users to Bitcoin. It's still fact even that I am sure you're absolutely correct about the white paper. They target models with existing user base, top models who have often 100K Twitter followers. The majority of those adult clients never ever used Bitcoin, but by following their favourite models to the GadgetNet network they will buy Bitcoin and use it - because the model ask them to do so. That's what I meant, that the end result is that the Gadget network produces new users for Bitcoin. Yes, internally they have some tokens but the buy-in process is using Bitcoin. In order to buy tokens the clients of the platform will have to find, buy and learn to use Bitcoin. I think that's bloody marvellous for all parties, including Bitcoin.

You are also absolutely right about using Bitcoin for this type of use cases. It would be great. Check it out, I have been banging on in this forum to use the bloody 80 bytes of OP_RETURN field of Bitcoin transaction to do this type of stuff. We have been debating this for long. It's still not happening. I have been supporting Bitcoin for years just like yourself, and I know eventually the BTC project will succeed, but I had enough from the struggle terms of the slow adoption - now I support any projects that bring the digital currency concept to real businesses, especially if it still uses Bitcoin like GadgetNet does.

Well support these smaller sites and when they begin to over take the bigger guys they will then listen.
