We can't deny that bitcoin can be used for different things NSFW ones and for SFW ones. And even real money we can also use it the same way as bitcoin does.

As long as there are money related on a website for sure many are going to get involved with it. It is all about business.

We can't blame those people who are doing porn business because they know that industry is really big.

Actually some people are addicted to porn and without watching porn for a day they cannot live. Though I am not against it but I personally don't like it, anyways yes accepting bitcoins will help both the seller and the buyers because the buyers are free of being traced while the seller knows what he got paid is non reversible.

Offcourse their maybe a heavy users but when it comes to porn I think most of us can control their needs. The way they can get to their content is changing.
While most of it goes with creditcards and anonymous. Bitcoin being the most anonymous currency should be able to compete with creditcards..

You have no idea the number of porn lover in this world, bitcoin make the transaction easy because you can have a cam show and you will just have to pay for bitcoin, and then you do not need to divulge your personal information so tipster and comfortable with this kind of set up.

This question has been answered many times in this thread. Here are some of the reasons why people pay for porn:

1. Internet providers sometimes flag users who download content using torrents.
2. Some people don't mind spending $1 or $2 for downloading a few videos once in a week or so.
3. HD and 3D content is not always available in the torrents.
4. Torrents are not 100% safe. Sometimes you will be downloading trojans and spyware along with the videos.
5. People pay, to show their support for the porn industry.

But, I believe some sites are providing HD quality porn contents. So, only due to lack of knowledge about such site people are still spending money for this purpose. But I'm not sure they are targeting a particular porn star, whose works may not available for free.

Yes, it is really a serious issue but we can’t really do anything about it. Those porn sites are accepting bitcoins as a payment method and they are replacing it with fiat. They have a legitimate right to use bitcoin but on the grounds of morality we should find a solution and preserve the image of the bitcoin otherwise, it might emerge as a criminal’s currency and that would damage the prospective user base of bitcoin. We should really focus on this issue at the earlier stage.
