Auto pay is fine as long as I have to approve it first. I specifically do not like someone having the ability to take money from my account without my express authorization for that specific transaction.

Yup you are right it is also called robbing you because of lack of authorization or confirmation from you and you will never notice that you have accepted it without legal consents from you.

Yeah they accept credit card, it's exactly for that that it's a good thing.
I never paid with a credit card for porn and don't want to! I don't want such personal data to be put in such website.
Call it paranoia but I don't like the idea to be officially and undoubtedly linked to porn website, privacy questions Wink

Subscriptions are a way for them to keep getting your money when you no longer find their content compelling and you forget to cancel. It's a deceptive and I don't like deception.

Porn isn't the only industry that does it, it happens all over the place, and I don't like it so I don't do it. My money goes to those who understand I don't want to pay when I am not consuming their product.

https://www.enchantrixaudios.com/catalog/ is another one - I spend quite a bit with that company, I only pay when I want something and they have never tried something funny or had malware on their sites. I'm trying to get them to accept bitcoin, but so far no luck. I think age verification is the issue.

Apparently, there are quite a ton of people who is willing to pay for services provided that their identity is kept hidden e.g. porn sites. Many people I know of that uses such sites prefer anonymous payment rather than credit cards that require their identity first.

Yes. I'm not the only one who leaves a site as soon as recurring membership is seen as the only way to get the content.

I don't patronize those sites, meaning my money goes to someone else. And yes, I do buy porn. All the free porn out there is largely pirate and I believe in an honest days pay for an honest days work. I don't pirate.

Besides, the "free" tube sites are all malware central.
