For me I don't see any other coin apart from bitcoin. Though there may be other altcoin to gamble with but they are trap to swallow your money.  The only coin I see that is worth investing is Bitcoin.

Apart from bitcoin etherium is another altcoin that most people chose to invest in since it's a subsidiary after bitcoin. These are the coin I see that has potential to HODl for long compeard to some  other altcoin. Apart from this two you can chose to gamble with others.

There are so many coins to consider in this aspect because once you omit bitcoin in crypto, every other things turned alts, also you may have to consider from the coinmarketcap ranking the first ten coins listed by their market capitalization, but anyone who is not ready to take on risk should  not move closer to altcoins because they could be disappointing in some cases.

Looking for quick profits, you should be targeting these coins that just launches from telegram tapping games and some sort. I've noticed a regular pattern in them. They rise for a few days after launching and then they start dumping, most times never too pump again in the nearest possible time.

I've noticed that pattern with Notcoin, Dogs and Ava.

My visualization is simple, the next coin is launching tomorrow, buy immediately it launches, hold for few days (3 -5 days) and then sell off after the initial pumping and you get your gains(This is not an investment advise).

Try not to buy during presale because the price declines just before launch.

Meme are risky though but I think if you have some good picks, it’ll make you some cool profits during bull run. Amongst the coins with blockchain you’ve named, I don’t think I’ll settle for MATIC even if I’m going to consider the rest. There coin has been dumping so badly like a meme coin that won’t recover again. They’ve decided to change their name back to POL again, they looked confused to me and I can’t put them amongst my top picks altcoins for short time. BNB, TON, TRX, SOL are good choices for me and I feel they’ll all do well during the bull season. I may also consider some top coins under this blockchains that I believe will do well in the bull season. When the mother coin does well, most child coins under them follow suit.

Since we are expecting the bull run soon, I might invest in BNB and Etherum for short-term profits. However, when investing you should not for he TV yourself and take profit at the right time so that you don't regret your actions because these coins are controlled by bitcoin price movement.

It is good to sell them the moment bitcoin price reaches 100k and and above and don't be too greedy. You should know thay investing on altcoins is similar to gambling.

Yes ,you are right Solana in recent days has become more volatile than usual, If one should think of holding any altcoins aside Bitcoin, one may think of Solana for the short term volatility and gains, and possibly taking advantage of those volatility we are experiencing in the price lately, the last time the entire market dip down which saw Bitcoin at $58k, I took advantage of it and I bought some solana around $120 - $118 and held until the price rises to $158 per coin before I sold, leaving small quantity.

Is difficult to find any other coin aside from Bitcoin that would give you the kind of profits you would want within a short period of time because I don't think there is any coin with the kind of volatility Bitcoin has, so locating the right one will certainly be difficult because you can even make mistake on the process of selection by choosing the wrong coin to invest, though there could be other coins to choose but the problem is that they are not the kind of coins people should go for in a short term such as Ethereum.

Ethereum is a good coin but investing on short term is what I don't no if there would be profits at the end because whenever it gets to particular price it takes time before making any move, so considering that facts I have come to realize that Ethereum can give a little more profits if you are able to hold it more longer, although I'm not an investment adviser but I think bnb can do well on that regards but though the profits may not be much on less the person invested huge, I always prefer Bitcoin in respect to long term holding because going for a short term is very risky and gambling with my investment is what I don't like, though many has profited a lot from altcoins but doesn't mean that everybody will also succeed when they choose altcoins, so actually making decision in regards to choosing the right altcoins I think it should be a self decision because even if they listed the names of all the altcoins nothing is for sure.

I prefer investing in Ethereum killers known as the Layer1 and Layer 2 coins such as Arbitrum, Optimism and the rest. They pretty do so much well over time especially during bull run, reasons is that so many coins built under them and they got lot of use cases and demand.

You can consider these coins if you are not in a hurry to sell out yours tho, or simply you can participate in their staking program.

Bitcoin had been the King of all from starting, the first mover advantage.

For meme coins, I think you consider leading meme coins on different Blockchains network, for example, consider BONG on Solana, DOGs on TON, SHIB on Binance, and so on.

Already we are going to experience the bull market sooner or later and I believe that some of the coins that have their own blockchain will do well, coins such as BNB, TON, TRX, MATIC, SOL, and lastly, am suspecting that AVAX will be able to have a price spike in this near bull market. If you can bear the risk of meme coins, I think their are lot of meme out in the market that are going to generate profit for investors.

a much better coin? I don't think there is any other coin I would prefer to Bitcoin especially when you consider that most of them tend to react based on what's happening to Bitcoin. Most altcoin are mostly useful for the short term when you predict the possibility of them becoming bullish over a small period of time and buy and HODL them just for that period of time. Apart from that, it's not worth it to compare Bitcoin to an altcoin.

When investing, you would have to choose between a more reliable investment choice that could stand for the long term or a other that looks promising at the moment but don't looks all that promising in the long run or that you can't point at what will become of it in 4 to 10 years time. Bitcoin might not be too quick to see 2x to 3x what you've invested within a short span of time but one thing about choosing Bitcoin is that it already guarantees that you've stored the value of your asset and that it wouldn't DIP too drastically all of a sudden.

Investing on altcoins is not a bad ideal but most aspect to be considered is reputabilitions of the coins so that we don't invest on projects that may dump our hard earned funds while chasing quick riches.
I learnt attractiveness of quick profits chasing is what visions some persons to fall victims in the crypto markets just at their hearing how good s coin is doing, they rushes to invest their funds and at most cases, they ends up regretting but if I may ask, since it is being admitted that bitcoin is exemptionally best reputable coin, why don't we look out for the future of life and comfortably invest on it to limiting the risk to the lost of our funds and secure a reliable and resourceful tomorrow's?

The hype nowadays is much and I wouldn't want you to go into those overhyped coins since it loses its potential so quickly. To me it's best advisable to stick with bitcoin irrespective that you needed quick profits from altcoins, you can as well project yourself for long run then cash out big time than gambling with your funds okay, have you also consider how your gonna risk such amount to invest in those token /coin and it's loses it value what would be your results?

Maybe Solana? I would've said Ethereum but we have all seen it's performance in recent months even with the advent of Ethereum ETFs in July, it has largely underperformed relative to Bitcoin and Solana. The reason why I said solana is because since it is used as a casino for memecoins, there is demand to buy and hold Solana in order to participate in the shitcoin fest currently going on in the chain.

But if you need a more solid long term investment, my advice is just to stick to Bitcoin because if you DCA right, it's much more rewarding than to hold other tokens. Bitcoin has largely outperformed altcoins and the dominance is still above 55.

This is the reason I said for short time maybe as the market drops a bit one can decide to buy and monitor how it gradually gain some percentage after which one can decide to take profits and have their gain and capital out of the coin, alternatively one can also decides to use that money to venture into accumulating enough bitcoin for that matter.

Although just as @Smartvirus did say none is even reliable for now but still we can put fate in bitcoin than any other coin out there, yes I also understand that altcoin aren't something to recommend people but naturally it's for short time just charles-Tim said of gambling with it.

I have no other coin in mind than bitcoin for holding.

Some people can think of centralized coins like ether and binance coin, but they are too less volatile for me just like bitcoin. Some I see no reason to invest on such coins.

Coins like Solana is too volatile for me. I do not know what the bear market could be for this coin. But I can gamble with it if the price go low than usual.

When the market is low already, it is worth to gamble with some volatile coins with small amount of money.

Bitcoin even isn’t reliable in short term investments. It’s always about the long term for benefits.
This gets worst in altcoins that have got little to no guarantee on them and can zero out completely without ever pumping again. I’ve had to hodl some of these prospective coins in the past and since then, having to recommend an altcoin for anyone is something I just don’t do. At most, I could require of you to stick to the coins with high market capitalization else, Bitcoin is what you should be investing with.

As the title already have it, what other coin do you think is much better to have. Note that it's only a short time target.
For long time target I will encourage you to keep buying bitcoin to your portfolio, but since we are here discussing about short time or quick profits then altcoin is the way to that.

Except Bitcoin you can drop about 2 or 3 coin that are already in the market for quick profits. Let the ball roll down.
