Well there aren't a lot of Bitcoin bookies so I will not even advice you to try arbitrage betting with Bitcoin bookies because you might not necessarily be able to make the required margin for reasonable profit. So if you're thinking arbitrage I guess it's best to stick and stay with the fiat bookies.

Hey,
Is there any arbitrage betting alert service that scans Bitcoin bookies? (Nitrogensports, Cloudbet, etc..)
Thanks.

I have arbitraged in the past between bitcoin bookies and fiat bookies. There are no services, but just people claiming to be posting arbitrage bets. Nothing is active at the moment though. Best way is to make a bot to track those bets as humans would take too much time.
But these were highly risk involved. My question is what's the need of an arbitrage betting when we have got lots and lots of gambling websites with cent percent legitimacy. Also you could participate in events that you're much aware off, but with arbitrage betting you could be availed a few games.

I would just advise you to just avoid arbitrage betting. Sports bookies are getting smarter every day and since most bookies don't allow arbitrage betting, you can get your account locked. They will know you are betting an arbitrage quite easily, because usually arbitrage betts will look like this

Quote
0.0325478652BTC on GSW -10 @ 1.95

Which totally gives you off that you are arbitrage betting and hence you can get banned an your balance forfeited.

I agree, there are been people who got busted with this and got their accounts banned or blocked then their balance was confiscated by the website which is totally bad. You should really consider that risk if you are really going to do this. But, well, good luck man.
Well this has been an issue that has been raised before since theirs a chance that odds can be different from house to house aside from blocking or suspending an account theirs also possibilities that the game can be cancel without  notice if the owners find about this they can easily say that it was just a mistake  from the system.

Bitedge.co.

Also there are people that are providing private services, I believe that Darkstar_ offered such a service for a percentage of the winnings a while back, not sure if he still has the time and the bot to operate it though.

But you have to have a large bankroll, and i mean like at least 10-20 BTC, as well as staying up all day and all night so that you don't miss any event that may have an arbitrage opportunity. It's a hideous task to be constantly monitoring an email or a chat channel.

Also the bitcoin arbitrages are usually a lot lower than what you get with fiat arbitrages as usually bitcoin bookies have less favourable odds for you.

It's really hard to make an arbitrage on sports betting , simply because most of the bookies take their odds from the same source, and even if you were able to find a bookie who takes their odds from different website, it would be pretty hard to make an arbitrage since most of them are charging huge house edge which will kill your profits.

I think that if you are looking to have any profit made from arbitrage u should try to do that with bitcoin markets which are much easier to track and to arbitrage.

Using the different markets is often not as easy as it sounds. Transfering bitcoins and USD across platforms can be expensive and slow, making the arbitrage that much more difficult.

There have been examples of great arbitrage options for sports betting. It should be possible to that with bitcoin as well.

With the backlog reaching 200k unconfirmed transactions it will be very hard to use arbitrage as a strategy in sportsbetting. There are some cases that transactions reach 3 days before getting 1 confirmation. The advantage of using bitcoin is no so much of an advantage anymore. What would be the next best coin for sportsbooks to use?

I have been searching for such service but have not found, even if you want to check manually, it is difficult because bitcoin sportsbook are not as many as fiat sportbook and most of them have nearly similar odds.
Make a system on your own, you best way to make money is when you focus on arbitrage betting and you must have a decent capital to start.
I am sure there are sites where the odds can be use for arbitrage and you can easily make money, I've been interested with this service but I just cannot start with a big capital in gambling since most of my funds are in trading sites.
I tried to compare between odds from different bitcoin sportsbook, but have not found any opportunity, I think it is time consumer act, most of people who make arbitrage betting use softwares that find arbitrage opportunities for them, but these softwares do not cover bitcoin sportsbook.

I think bitedge (https://bitedge.com/odds-comparisons/) is what you're looking for. the odds are pretty much same on every site, arbitraging opportunity isn't there! no risk free money. Roll Eyes

I don't think there is any such service so you may have to find any possible arbitrage betting opportunity manually. Also i find arbitrage betting quite risky because even for small profit margin, you have to put so much in bets.

The solution is very simple

Get a bitcoin USD card and bet using that CC Wink

I think there were no arbitrages for Nitrogensports and Cloudbet. The most profitable ones were for more obscure sites like Powerbet etc.
You could still pull off some nice arbitrage bets on nitrogen but it's somewhat hard and risky since they have limited live lines. Like what happened on the 1st leg of gsw vs spurs where the handicap of spurs shifted so much from +10 prelive  to -4 on nitrogen's live lines at one point while they were up by ~20pts during the 1st half.

Yeah, I saw that game, it was crazy.
But it was a very rare thing that rarely happens.
By the way, Golden State won that game at the end! so you could basically bet on GSW at the odds of 5.5 at the some point and end as a big time winner.
That was a great match but again, it rarely happens.

It's sort of possible, but fiat arbitrage is a much better choice because:

-Bitcoin betting sites are extremely loosely regulated and could scam you at any time, especially the smaller ones.

-The larger sites have relatively similar odds, so you might have to venture to pretty questionable sites to get decent opportunities

-If you're looking to avoid verifying your identity, you're probably out of luck.  Sites detecting suspicious activity like very frequent deposits and withdrawals in the way that an arbitrage better would do it might end up asking for ID, so you might as well go for fiat anyway.

Some guys used to offer a Bitcoin arbitrage betting service but they quit when sportsbooks started voiding bets. Arbitrage betting is frowned upon at the most profitable for such bets Bitcoin sportsbooks.

I never tried arbitrage option for sports betting, i am a complete noob in this, how is it possible to do that, can you give some insights regarding that, with the current delays it is impossible to take advantage of any arbitrage with bitcoin because of the delays but you can always check alternative currencies as it will be confirmed pretty soon.

It is not that easy. There are a lot of website that offer free arbitrage betting but not in bitcoin only in fiat money but the problem is the arbitrage bets stay up only a few minutes, from 10-30 minutes as you can see.
